Hi everyone,

preparing to send application and supporting docs and just wanted to be sure about this.

Can anyone confirm that they have sent just the NADRA Marriage Certificate with the Union Council stamp
as evidence of Marriage and it was accepted by the ECO. I have not had the Nikah Nama translated as the NADRA
Certificate has both urdu and english sections. I am sure I read in a post somewhere that the BHC have instructed
Gerry's to accept either the NADRA Marriage Certificate or the urdu Nikah Nama & translation as long as they have
the Union Council stamp.

My husband did it there, if your wife's standard of english is good then I would suggest there. Many people recently have passed the listening and failed the speaking by a few marks, my husband had to do it twice, passed the listening and failed the speaking. he has now passed and recieved the certificates..
if u fail one section do u have to take the full test again?

Im not sure about that, the first time my husband did it we were told that the tape recorder wasnt working properly and they couldnt mark him because of that and then he did both the listening and speaking again.

But its common sense that if she passes the listening then all she will have to re-sit is the speaking one again, which you will have to pay for unless it was due to negligence on their side.

henna sis, im not sure about others..but my hubby gt the text message and it changed online the same time...bout 1pm here and it ws 4pm in pakistan

also, neitehr me, huby or my employer wer contacted

...which they shud ov done lol..instead they had to refuse it ..

..anways...no point cryin over spilt milk..wats done is done, jus hope it gets overturned now....i hope i hear sumthing next week...im praying for u al to hear good news 2 Inshallah

"your visa application has been forwarded to the embassy for processing 03/04/2012"

what does this mean??

Every1 the ECO are acting all weird these days henna786 was forwaded to bhc on saturday wen the eco don not work. Me n muz786 both got a status sayin ur application has been forwaded to the embassy for processing. Can every1 whoz status is under process at the moment check thier status it mayb a new phrase by the eco for under process lol
This is weird n freakin but i know the visa is stamped at islamabad

no my case aint complicated got married in july, did not apply until january was waiting for my wife to do the IELTS test that was the reason for the delay in applying.

It could may well mean that by tommorow or some tym this week it may change to ready for collection as naila sis mentioned. They probably mean its bring fowarded to the application centre where u submitted the application. And they may have made this change cos they get so many calls and emails concerning the whereabouts of an application and this gives people a little idea that they are close to hearing about their application.

It'd just a guess pls dnt take my word for it and correct me if I'm wrong.

i just hope my hubby gets a call or text tomorow, cuz i dont keep on checking it online so i dont know when it will change lol, aww bless u sis dont worry everything happens for the best inshallah u should hear soon, we all will pray for everyone who is on this forum that we hear good news nxt wk so.. we could only pray i know its stressing but inshallah it happens for the best:) at the moment very stressful moment once its changed to bhc, dont know if its gone to gerry (mirpur) or they still checking it sis? good luck
