and yes they wil take ruppees on day of submission...

naila i received a notice of withdrawal from the ait on the same day as the call letter. This was emailed to my hubby.

it will be soon insh'allah. If he has access to email, tell him to check it as they myt hav already sent it.

And a valid tb certificate will be needed along with a copy of ur passport and also ur hubby's passport which shud have atleast 3 months validity.

We submitted our passport on the 21st feb after receiving a call letter- so they do take their time!

Naila congrats my wifey sent her passport for stamp been a month inshallah hope to hear something next week i got call letter 2 weeks after but will take about a month to get ure passport stamped good luck naila dwa karai i get reply this week

Do you need to book an appointment for collection of passport from the gerry office you submitted?

Are there any times to collect between or are they collectable all day?

I wouldnt get excited so soon, because you may have to wait a bit longer( anything from 2-8 weeks before the visa is stamped in his passport and he can fly to the UK)

^^^ My wife did the TB test in Lahore, you have to phone to make an appointment then pay the fee (its around 4200rp) at a Standard Charter Bank (there are only 2 standard charter branches that accept TB payment in Lahore) The bank had a special pay in form for the TB payment. We went to the Standard Charter in Garden Town.

No one told us my wife needed 2 brithish passport size photos and also photocopies of her nic and passport too (along with payment proof). Luckily we got there an hour early and arrived back in time with the required docs + photographs even tho there was a power cut

So XnailaX you never had to go to court? all you did was make an appeal after refusal? And they withdrew from the appeal themselves? Did you have a soliciter that did anything? Let us know as I think most of us these days will be going through appeal. Looks like they just reject initial visa application on any small grounds then withraw at appeal or judge decides in applicants favour.

yeh they refused my case on a smal matter...but im so glad my case has been overtrned...i nevr wanted to go to court!!...

i did hv a solicitor to sort my appeal documents out..but i did all the running round.lol...

ma huby gona do tb test in Islamabd, i emailed them yesterday to giv us an appoiontment...i think he needs to take him OLD certificates aswell innit?..

Taniya 40 days mean its been around 5 1/2 weeks... not sure where you are getting 8 weeks..

I realise it is a stressful time for you but the situation is out of your control, try and relax and put your mind on other things.
