Hi guys, I was just wondering how many pics in total did you send with your visa docs? I'll be printing out digital camera pics from my brother's wedding but I'm unsure how many to do.

Not sure which way around it is, but one or the other department of the home office is responsible for checking the documentation and the authenticity of it. However some of it does comes under the Data Protection Act. What he said and it seems to be backed up with the status changes is that one department is responsible for checking the Pakistan document side of things like marriage registration and issuing the VISA and the embassy in Abu Dhabi is responsible for the other side of things. It seems to be backed up as the applications have clearly been sent to Abu Dhabi in a bundle.

It used to be a case of the BHC in ISB doing everything, but not anymore.

Everyone will almost certainly get called to collect their passports within a couple days of each other.

one of my cousin got a reply back he submitted his on the 4th jan and he got a call on the 22march and he got the visa.. so guys i think we will inshallah get responce next week:) am sure it was 56working days for him so hang on everyone...

like king2be said we should hear before 60working days inshallah:)

Could you tell us the timeline for your cousin. Did his to go to embassy for processing on 4/3/12?

yes it did, he submitted it on 4/01/12 after 20 working days changed to process at bhc.. then changed on the 4/03/12 to application forward to..

Dnt forget the 2nd is also bank holiday.

I put over 20 and hubby put more in too lol

Pictures were, before shaadi, during shaadi and after shaadi when I went back home to spend time with him.

My freinds visa got refused because the ECO said they need to some more wedding pics so if I was you I'd send as much as you can.

She was meant to hear something on the 19th March and now they have called her for a hearing on May 25th.

She submitted her visa last year July 2011 and the visa was refused in October I think, so hasnt it been over 6months for her now? (the appealing process)

Yup, your consultant is absolutely right ; they are sucking our blood and at the end ask; send your documents again.

It is advisable to call them and keep your follow up regularly otherwise they will put you in a real trouble.

Thankyou for your reply.. The tribunal have now sent me a court date all the way in June but the Eco has still not come to no decision..! It's so hard bringing my little one by myself but they don't understand..
I'm still hoping for them to overturn their decision inshallah

Replied after a long time.

I just say do 'Sabr' and do 'Duaa'. these are very pivotal for the success of any work. Neither we do duaa properly nor do sabr. In-shaa-Allah, everything will be fine for all those people who are suffering for late reply, crying for their partners, trying to manage the present scenario and best of all waiting to travel to see their near and dear ones.

ns99..my hubbys case was refused in october..we sent appeal in november and deadline was given 3rd april 2012..Alhamdulillah it has been overturned

jus hav faith and b strong for ur baby ...watevr happens is for the best sis >>hugs<<...ur in my duas x

also one of my cousins..her deadline was 13th march..she stil hsnt heard anything

shes also gt a little baby boy..

lol i cant phone them at this time its too late, i wanted to know if anyone on here knew if the price varies as i have been told its over 10,000 rupees by someone in pakistan about to book it

I've chosen 10 pics; from mehndi, baraat, walima and after wedding too. Along with this, my brother will inshAllah send phone records, some skype shots, fb chats, greeting cards, money transfer receipts..

I hope this is enough

At the moment we are waiting for my sis-in-laws test results, she took the ESOL test in Dina. Apparently, it takes a whole month for the results to be given and then another 2 weeks for certificates to arrive..(not the best test to take if you want quick results)

Ive been waiting for this visa forever now, true though, there's a good reason behind everything Allah does, we just can't see it..! Thanx 4 ur replies also, it's comforting knowing someone's thinking of u n knows exactly what ur going through..
