Had a quick question
Maybe someone on this forum can best advise me.
I am going to be getting married in Pakistan in Shaa Allah in a month's time.
After the marriage I shall be be looking to submit my wife's case here from the uk via online then post the documents to her.
My questions are:
Can online results of a1 be used for the application as my wife shall sit her A1 test in mirpur on 28th Feb so can't imagine her getting her certificate until May.

I am in regular contact with my fiance via lycatalk but want to confirm does the sim card I call her on in pakistan, have to be registered in her name?

My going to be wife should be exempt from the financial requirement as I am disabled and get dla and esa

Thanks

P.s I can't update my signature as using this off my phone at the moment, we applied 21st November from LHE

I started new job 7 months ago.
The first 3 months of my employment were probationary after that I was made permanent.

Would that affect my application? Would I need 6 months as permanent or can i include the first 3 months?

Thanks!!!
As long as your pay is over the threshold during that period (last 6 months) and your employment letter says you are permanent as suppose to temporary/contracted you will be fine.

I've escalated this for application for a second time last week on Thursday and I haven't received any response to that either. Is this normal for them not to reply to escalation requests at all?

And also, is it normal for them to take 15 weeks to process an application??? I can't find anyone on this forum who applied in October and who hasn't got a response apart from my wife. It's totally mad and it's quite frustrating to be honest. Would appreciate some help on this.
Anything can be normal with BHC, if you flick back some 200 pages you will see people were waiting for almost a year.

I think not sure though, for A1 test you have to wait until you have the results certificates, can someone else confirm this?
It will help if the sim is registered in her name, if its not then you can rely on whatsapp/Skype/wiber etc, Is lycatalk a sim card or a calling card? If it is a sim card then you can print out itemised bill which will show the number correlate that number with whatssapp/Skype you will be sorted.

Congrats, usually its 2 days. Most people received email and call from gerrys but there have been people who just received either an email or just a call.

Hey All,

I enquire about the status of my application and I got a reply back saying there are no current updates. I'm worried is this normal at this stage of the application?

I would like the answer to this aswell please
When you fill in your application form, it will ask you a question "Have you been refused a visa for any country including UK in the last 10 years?". If one is refused, they will have to select Yes, then it would ask you for further details such as "country of visa refusal, type of visa refused, date of refusal, reason for refusal. So ECO will get the information in your application form. Now it is up to you if you would like to explain or further mention reason for refusal then you can do so on Additional Information sheet or your support letter.

Now back to the timeline, Islamabad seems to be loaded with applications, so far it seems they are processing 1st week of November 2014, compared to mirpur in last week of november
THank you very much
