My Set(O) application progress:

June 7th: Applied through online system, which has taken the money from credit card immediately and sent the documents on the same day
June 9th: Letter from Home Office stating application passed to case worker
August 10th: Letter from Home Office. Asking for letter from Employer confirming my employment. Also asking me to fill section 9 (Tier-1 Points Scoring Assesment) from a Set(O) form dated May 2011. On the online form I used, which they have just started using in the beginning of the June, these 2 were not required.

Asked to HR to supply the employer letter and planning to send to Home Office as soon as I got the document.

Anybody in the same status?

Regards
Erdinc

I have received ILR visa today. My agent informed me the news this mornig.
I am not sure when it was stamped, but if I get it I will update my whole story.

Briefly,

I and my wife and my two sons applied for ILR under 10years rule on 20th May.
It was received on 23rd May by HO.
The application fees were taken 27th May.
The method of payment was my cheques.
My agent received the acknowledgment letter on 31st May. The date of the letter was on 24th May.

Finally, I have got ILR today, I have waited it exactly for 3 months.
Tomorrow I will visit my agent and will get it and I will update my case again for all who are waiting the good news.
Thanks all of you.
Good luck.

Looks like 3 months lead time from posting application to receiving passport back now...I wonder what happened to the 8 weeks lead time evident from entries here in early summer??

Are there many people waiting here who are just hitting or fall in the 8-10 weeks mark? And perhaps you could also indicate whether the application is straight forward or has any tricky issues.

Faadi201 was your application straight fwd? Any clues as to why there is a 2 weeks time lag between ILR stamp date and receving the passport back?

Thanks! :)

Thanks! Smile

my application was straight forward no gaps no prob. regarding time lag i think HO has given this task to the third party, this is my opinion.

Seventh Week is starting from 5th Sept. Haven't heard anything yet from UKBA since my wife's biometric enrollment (for her FLR-M) on 27th July at the post office.

Relatively straight forward application as no gaps, few days absence, no conviction in 10 years. Finger Crossed.

Good Luck Adam, hope it happens soon for you and your partner :) .

I'll be beginning my 5th week coming Tuesday 6th Sept, so still some way to go...

As far as HO using a third party causing a 2 week gap between passport stamped and receipt is concerned, its a reasonable assumption...however it still doesn't explain the 8 weeks turnaroud we saw early summer. Those guys had upto 1 week gap between passport stamped and receipt from the ones that caught my eye.

I guess there is no way to get a clear answer to this delay...it does seem that all 10yrs ILR related postal applications are being decided in Liverpool (based on posts here) if i'm not mistaken.
