Congrats Vidya!!! You really deserved this good news... all your analysis kept our hopes alive (sometimes made our hearts miss a beat too)

Harvis, You would need to call the BHC and give your date of application as well as your passport to the person who lifts the phone... before they can ask u to call the VFS... I asked her to escalate my case, and also sent a mail after that explaining my urgency... It worked...

i got the email reply from them at 12.30 PM and i had sent the usual query mail at 11.30 AM

i had a feeling that they might have processed because in the morning the person who answered my call to BHC said call back by 15th when normally she just says wait

and also we got a lot of results last tuesday also

skd , did your online status change - mine has not yet changed - wht time you got the mail

ram , harvis , ce , jason , kmsr - check your online status at 6.30 PM and update us.

Hi guys,
congrats everybody who got their visa...so finally the day has come...the good part is that all those who have been waiting for ages have got it approved ....
I must say that this forum was really helpful and kept me going in the tough times..
today I have reached UK and in my Client's office....
Just for everybody's knowledge the Jet aorways provides and additional baggage allowance for the migrant visa holders...
i think lion has posted a different thread on this so your guys can have a read....
Thanks again everybody for all your support....but hey even if everyone got their visa make sure we all don't leave this forum....

Hope u r liking it here...A query about Jet...Did they argue with you about luggage ??Or they allowed you extra luggage as soon as they saw your HSMP stamp??How much luggage did they allow...??

no that's the catch ..they argue and told me that they are not aware of any such policies but after some argument they gave to it..I managed to bring 42 kg of check in and 10 kg of cabin baggage along with 1 laptop bag that I have stuffed till death....

Sorry to get into so much detail..But did you show them any proof /rule book that says that u r allowed X kg for HSMP??I am planning to carry print out from their Website as a proof..
BTW, where in UK have u landed??

I did received my Passport yesterday from Chennai BHC.

I ve requested for Postdated EC and they ve given the same.

Thanks to this forum and all the members.

I m sure all will get EC soon.

HI Guys,

Can anyone help me to track my passport? I only know my passport no. and the ref no i got from VFS "BLAC/140108/******"

Hi SKD, as you said I called up BHC today morning ,
and givem Passport number etc....and they also telling the same " You have to wait until BHC takes decision". I asked her to push my application if there is any chance. She said Case officer have to look into that ans she can not do much abt that. But I requested one more time to look into the same to forward my application if there is any possibility.....

Can you guys tell me how ur discussions happened with BHC guys??? and Did I miss any thing to reveal with BHC guys....if so give me tips to handle the situation and to get my VISA asap.SKD plz help and ofcourse I sent a mail just now..... SKD can you plz send the mail you sent to BHC saying urgency????

and Can any one tell Is that the same Lady who picksup 044 42192310 everyday???? or they keep on changing ???
