Should I be concerned that even though the money came out over 10 days ago I haven't even received an email acknowledgement? Also when money comes out what name does it show?

just a thought... isn't it better to tell your bank / C.C provider a large amount will be debited within 5 weeks so not to decline it? it's what I did

Never had any problem with amount over thousand, but they did block my 0.67 pound online purchase not long ago.
Unfortunately my bank can't pre-empt when this debit will happen and unblock it. Oh well.

Trust me, I advised my bank, however the answer given was that they cannot do it.

Hi aroca,

Literally just a simple email acknowledging that they have "logged a naturalisation application" on their systems for me on the 29th May 2015. Confirmation that the prescribed fee was withdrawn on the 10th June 2015. And then a Home Office reference number.

It also states that the payment withdrawn has also have generated a letter which they expect will arrive shortly. Nothing extravagant, really.

For everyone waiting, don't freak out too much...They've probably had a huge backlog due to the price rise, etc. Remember, "no news is good news!"

you should have got a email acknowledgement, i applied same date money gone on same day as you 12/06/15 and i received a email acknowldegemnt today which means should get a letter one later this week. you should get it within couple days i guess

I see few people have received Biometric Info Letter at the same day as Acknowledgment Letter, I just wonder if it is their usual practice or routinely random...I am tempted to write to HO to enquire if Biometric letter is even issued/sent. As NCS brochure had written that I have to provide Biometric within 2 weeks time after receiving Biometric info letter otherwise application can be refused. So what if Royal Mail lost the letter & HO thinks I have not submitted Biometric ???

I phoned HO previously, they have assured me that no application will ever be lost.
But I was advised to phone them again at the end of June when 6 weeks lapses (I applied on 12th), then they'll check for me.
