Thanks to every one in this forum

I got my approval ..

Application submitted on 27 June
I requested for an emergency approval 3 weeks before ..
Please note that if you are requesting emergency approval or any request to HO,it will take minimum one week to get on to the system and get noticed ..

Hi All,

Its my day !!! finally !!!

here are my timelines

Applied : 05th June
Ref Letter : 06th June
Urgent Treatment :07th August
Docs Recvd: Aug 30th (Visa valid 3 years )

The part that puzzles me is that the approval letter is dated 24th July and I got my docs back on Aug 30.

All this time CC kept telling me , it is still under consideration.

Well , in my experience if your case is getting delayed , then it is most likely that they are processing it.

This forum is great and is very helpful. Lets keep up the good work guys.

If anybody needs any other info., let me know.

It's my time to share good news I guess..

I received my documents back today. Although I haven't seen them, my housemate read it for me. It's approved.

WP to Tier 1 from UK
Applied: 19-06-2008
Received: 20-06-2008 (exempt from fee)
Approval date: 06-08-2008
Documents Received: 02-09-2008

It took apprx 10.5 weeks. When I called on friday 29th August I've been told it's still with us by CC. But I received the documents today. As soon as I go home and check the docs, I will update with additional info...

My humble observation is if it takes long time, it arrives approved. Don't be bothered with people who got it before/after you who applied before/after you. I don't think there is a logic behind. It's totally random I guess... It's easy to say but hard to act I know... Until last week I was so worried and tired because of worrying, I couldnt worry anymore...

All the best to everyone waiting, my prayings are with them....

This forum is amazing, I will keep checking it, I won't leave totally..

I received my documents today. It took around 11 weeks without urgent treatment.

Thanks to everyone in this forum. I find this forum very helpful specially in getting an idea of the trend and timelines.

I will be in touch with this forum at least for next 3 weeks and would try my best answering queries.

Documents received on 1st Sept 08

Urgent treatment : No
Calls to Ho for status enquiry: No

No they're not. I do believe that until an application dispatched they call it under consideration... There is no other explanation when there are many people who got approval almost 1 month before they receive the docs...

i received my approval today.

I would like to share my experience with all aspirants:

No news might be good news

Approval and posting date -

Approval- takes usually 40-44 days
Posting date
might be a long gap and one can't get accurate the information from the call centre .Until july the gap was 10 days but now the gaps is about 20 -25 days between the approval and the date of posting.

Got my passport today.
My timelines
Applied 26 th June
Ref dated 27th June received on 30 th June.
Application approved on 12 th Aug going by the letter with the passport.
No urgent treatment sent.
Spoke to CC - once 2 weeks back when they said it is under consideration and yesterday was told cannot provide individual updates.
Thanks to this site one gets information on average processing times and helped me keep cool.
Mine was HSMP to Tier 1 Pre Nov 2006 status.My previous visa exp on 2nd Aug.

Ll right guys, here's my exact timelines;

WP to Tier 1 (applied in UK)
App. Sent: 19-06-08
App. Received: 20-06-08
Letter Received (dated 20 June): 23-06-08
Approval Date: 06-08-08
Visa Stamped: 21-08-08
Docs Received back: 02-09-08

No UT. My work permit was 5 years btw...
I received back passport and all documents I sent also the approval letter with an additional page explains my points...

One interesting thing is I claimed 40 points but awarded 25 since I didn't get my missing bank statements stamped after I got them from barclays. So get them stamped for sure... I claimed 95 awarded 80...

. its been 2.5months.

Every time i call CC they say its under consideration , so i have stoped calling them & as u cxan see from other members posts its waste of time calling CC anyways.

Just have to be more paitent and wait for the positive response by the gods grace.

Hi all 'Just posting my timelines as requested on this thread, I applied 28th june, called HO today, told 'still under consideration' Please continue the good work on this forum. Its what keeps me going and congs to all who have got theirs.

I called em today and he gave me the same old "still under consideration" gimmick. Sensing a weakness I went for the kill, telling him that I was told last week that it had gone for stamping. The guy said, yes, that is what it says in the system, but alas it has not yet been stamped or dispatched.

well done! That is exactly what works. Just say that some other guy told you that it is approved, then you stand a chance to get the correct information. Need to be tricky with these guys, they do not appreciate the agony and uncertainity one goes through..

Hi friends,

From my case I learned that CC can see up to date info unless system was coincidently updated today itself. As whe I called them today morning a generous CW was able to tell me that my docs had been dispatched yesterday afternoon...

Below is the timeline of my request (applied within UK):

WP -> TIER1 (With dependants)

Applied : 23rd July
Ref No. Received : 24th July (Date as on Ref letter)
Fee Deducted : 29th July
* Another letter containing same Ref no received early August (dated 31st July)
Approval Date: 19th Aug
Visa Stamped: 29th Aug
Docs Received - 04th Sep.

I didn't make any urgent treatment request, as I was reading comments on this forum regulary I thought to give a call to CC yesterday evening. Today made a call at around 10:00 am and there was a kind CW who took my details and said my documents have been dispatched yesterday afternoon (what a co-incidence !!!) via Royal mail recorded delivery (I didn't send any special delivery envelope may be as I wasn't aware if we should do...and may be I only came to know about this forum after I applied)
And I received my docs in todays mail (royal mail)

Well that's all I have to tell...wish you guys all the best for your applications...
