I got my decision in a few months; they're usually more active when issuing decisions when ceremony is announced.

I see that your payment hasn't been processed yet. How long do you think it will take them to process it? Don't you think this needs to be done within a certain amount of time? The hold on the payment could end. I mean, technically, the draft we send in for 175EUR doesn't have an expiration date, but the payment of 950EUR does, and this should be done within a month. Did you send an email to the department asking why this hasn't been taken care of yet?

Oh, I forgot to post it in the timeline. It was processed, but a bit too late.

In a nutshell, I sent in money on the 7th (mad late, I know - sent it on 1st first and thought it went through, but nope), hoping to get onto 20th/21st June ceremony. Money didn't go through before 21st.

Right, so you are saying that it took them nearly 2 weeks to process your payment?

Yes; it was just before the ceremony, so they could've stopped processing payments altogether until 21st. People's experience varies, though - it could take from a week to 5 weeks, as someone mentioned - post2116345.html#p2116345.

Okay so received that email minutes ago. I guess that's the standard template. what to expect next?

The vetting application made in respect of you has been completed and a disclosure has been made to Irish Naturalisation and Immigration Service (INIS). Applicants should note that a vetting disclosure issues in respect of every vetting application. The reference to ‘disclosure’ does not indicate the outcome of your vetting application, it only indicates that the vetting process has been completed.
Next you wait. That's the end of a vetting process.

ISD can either make a decision your application now, as all the stages have been completed, ask for more information (there were cases like that in timeline).
Congrats. You have finished Stage 3. The subsequent phase is GRANT. They will not inquire about anything unless the Garda discloses something. My friend informed me that they send out a letter stating that the minister has accepted your application and that you are now required to pay 950EUR; once you pay this, it is likely that you will be included in the next ceremony. Fingers crossed!!
Can you tell approximately how long after vetting disclosure viewed the decision was issued to your friend ?
I believe you should now be awaiting the letter requesting payment of 950 EUR; once this is completed, you will be included in the upcoming ceremony. There has been no movement on my NVB processing for the past 7 business days; however, according to the first email sent by the department in the first quarter of this year, once the NVB disclosure has been completed, the process moves relatively quickly and is only at the GRANT stage. Typically, this occurs within a month's time.
So ,there is a movement in my nvb tracker as of 11 am today and it say application schedule to complete and I believe it ll be completed today .it took me 16 days and I hope it ll be less time for you.good luck

How is the €950 fee payable? Bankers draft like the €175 application fee?

Nope, just an online payment from your card.

Excellent - thanks for the confirmation meself2. I suspected that was the case but not explicitly stated anywhere i could find...as my wife and I live in NI it was a hassle to pay the original €175 fee with no euro bank account. ended up driving to Dundalk to get a postal order. saves me a trip this time!

In relation to your E-Vetting Invitation - EVET2023XXXXXXXX, please note that a member of the Citizenship Division has reviewed your submission and has forwarded your details to An Garda Siochana National Vetting Bureau (NVB), to start the E-Vetting process.

You will receive an email from the NVB in the coming weeks which will contain instructions on how to complete your E-Vetting submission.

Please complete your E-Vetting as quickly as possible to ensure your application is not delayed.

How long is the wait for NVB email to come after this email?

To get an email, it should be "Disclosure viewed", as that's the end of the process entirely.

It depends, mine was viewed by citizenship and I received the email from nvb same day that my application is completed.
It is now on citizenship when they can see and download disclosure.my friend got his disclosure viewed a week after and mine was viewed same day .
As @meself explained, you ll receive an email from nvb once your disclosure is viewed by citizenship team

It's not an email from ISD - simply put, your vetting tracker should show "Disclosure viewed" and that's when NVB sends an email out stating that. The question is more whether ISD has viewed the disclosure or not, since that's what matters.
