thank you for your insight.

I have realised that i was naive and made a few stupid blunders, HSMP was not the right choice for me but i was led to believe that it was.. if only i had some more time to research, but i was so hard pressed on time (28th birthday), that i was forced to take the step, which was a wrong one.

anyway, friends, im going back to the drawing board, i have found a masters course and im gonna study a bit more and then increase my chances to get a work permit.

all my documentation is in order, wont go into details as this is a forum for HSMP only! just hope the conversion from WHM to STUDENT is not too bad.. i have read loads about it but im confident i should get it. i have studied previously in the UK and my attandance record was 90% and i got a MERIT on the course. all other aspects of my stay have been completely legal and perfect as well.

wish me luck folks!

ALL

Is there anyway we can request for a copy of approval letter again. If yes, how long would it take? My approval letter was dispatched on 25th Sep and I still haven't received it. Last time I got it within 4 working days.

Thanks,
Amjad.

Hi hsmp2006,

You can request for the decision letter to be resent, but that can be done only after 12 weeks of decision date. HO will not issue another letter immediately.

I would suggest you to wait for some more time to get the decision letter and follow the posts from the GPO in Museum Road, Bangalore. Sometimes it will take 10-15 days to receive a letter.

All the Best!!!

Just received the documents yesterday amidst of heavily pouring rain :)

Thanks for all your help & suggestions during this 1.5 month journey. It really has been useful.
