Ok, not sure who is doing what in the drive but i just watched someone delete user "tom13"'s decision date in the tracker. Now, everything is in there apart from the decision date which is missing. Too many people mucking about in the tracker.

Unless it was tom13 making the changes but still odd.

I actually used a solicitor in my case due to the case not being straight forward, the HO sent my biometric to the solicitors who then forwarded that to my address which I never received.
I had to get the copy of biometric invitation letter from my solicitor personally and therefore it took me a while to register my biometric details.

Hello i just checked the drive, your name is still there.Though it appears some dick head had messed up the other columns as well. Even after advising them not to muck about with it. Its hard to learn that some people on this forum do not understand simple English of DO NOT TOUCH THE GOOGLE DRIVE IF YOU HAVE NO IDEA OF HOW TO UPDATE IT.

Hey guys, I am a bit confused on when I become eligible to apply for my ILR (Long Residency) and would appreciate if someone could clarify please.
I got entry visa granted on the 9th of January 2006 and arrived in the UK on 1st of February 2006. Do I apply 28 days prior to 9th of January 2016 or 1st of February?

Many thanks
Ann

Hi Ann,

You can apply 28 days before your first entry to the UK which is your case will be anytime after 3rd of Jan 2016.

Thanks Appex221, much appreciated. That's what I thought, but I also read somewhere on this thread that if you enter in the UK within 3 months of date of Visa grant, your 28 days count starts from date of grant..

Cheers

Not for SET LR category I am afraid! T1 or T2 have a 90 days grace period after the visa is granted which can be counted to completed 5 years residency to be eligible for ILR. In the case of SET (LR) you can apply 28 days prior to your first entry although I have seen some cases on this forum you have applied 50-60 days prior and have received their visa.

I personally wouldn't recommend if you can wait for 28 days prior it is straight forward application provided if you meet all other requirements.

Hope it helps!!

Hi Can somebody plz update tracker for us:

ME
Posted- 22/09/14
Biometrics received- 10/10/14
Bio given- Same day

MY WIFE
Posted- 29/08/14
recived by HO- 01/09/14
Bio recved- 22/09/14
Bio given- Same Day

We both have 6.5 on student visa, then 2 years on PSW and remaining 1.5 yrs on Ent visa.
Both have pretty straight fwd case- not much absence, No CCJ, No gaps etc. My wife had a rejection in 2009 on student visa but we won on appeal. We both have seperate files with HO, no dependant as thats how it has been from Day 1.

Thank you, and Good Luck to ALL.

Dear all
Please can you provide information on how many days absence is
allowed
from the UK on FLR M, 3/2 year visa so it doesn't affect the extension or
ILR Application?

100% correct. Don't risk it. Just wait till you are 28 days prior to completing 10th year in the UK from your entry date.
