Hi,

Called UKVI today and the guy said that a decision has been made on the application and we will get contacted soon, so hopefully not too long now, I submitted the application near the end on June so around 13 weeks have passed.
Was it priority or non priority? I am still waiting for my application from lahore which i submitted 7th may.
It was non-priority from islamabad submitted on the 27th June, just waiting for the VAC to contact us so we can collect the passport with a hopefully approved visa, hope yours gets decided soon as well.

Hi
Did they ask about your wife's employment details?
If not you will get your decision in 12 working weeks.
And the online tracker is not working for outside uk applications at the moment.

- i applied 29/06/2017 tls contact tunisia ( spouce visa )
- Document Sent to sheffiled 7/7/2017

Or ask for immigration lawyer help . as the way haw you prapare you supporting docment can have effect on the processing time and the decision aswell

I have noticed everyone that received this mail have applied in May and most received not straight forward/Hold emails. i can see from timelines people from June are receiving there visa's as normal as long as it is straight forward so i dont think it applies to June/July applications.

from reading timelines you can see people usually get contacted within 10 working days of decision being made.

As your biometric was in Pakistan, it's a outside uk case , so the online tracker doesn't work for us.
Normally they call like that only for not straightforward cases. Which take longer time to get a decision.
Does your sponsor doing two jobs?

But don't worry, nowadays they are giving decisions within 12 weeks.

Hi

What u suggesting.
Could u explain brief plz
Yes So if you go To GOV.Uk / Under immgration rules you find the follwing index:

APPENDIX FM
APPENDIX FM - SE
PART 9 GROUNDS FOR REFUSAL

Just click inside each section and you will find the acctual rules that applies on the procces of VISA Appliction under FAMILY ROUTE.

Depends on your circumstances just makes sure you read them and make sure that you meet the rules before even thinking of apply . when you do not meet the rules and you can get approve but it might be a long procedure for you . my case it was a bit complicated as im overstayer and I been issued a removal notice but i tried my best to meet all the rules and make verygood representation .

Good Luck bro feel free to ask any more question ..

What we've learned from the last few days:

1) Those who got the email 'A decision will be made before 31st October unless we tell you otherwise" were those whose documents got sent to Sheffield.

2) The gov.uk online tracker does not work for applications made outside the UK

------

Many of us have been waiting since Jan 2017 and some even earlier!

The earliest member still waiting is from Nov 2016, so those who complain after waiting only a few weeks should re-read this thread and realize it's a long process and wait.

In Jesus name, I pray we all get our decisions approved very soon, Amen.

I genuinely feel for hose who have been waiting for so long, for example, since November 2016 but everyone is in the same boat and it is so hard. I don't think people are complaining on here but instead wanting to talk to people who understand how they feel.

Hi
Did they ask about your wife's employment details?
If not you will get your decision in 12 working weeks.
And the online tracker is not working for outside uk applications at the moment.
Yes they asked her about her employment and wage etc. And my supporting documents were sent from UK only Biometrics were done here in Pakistan.

Ok she's just doing 1 job, do you know how long after they send original documents back we have not had ours back yet?
And im sure its less time for priority one's because normal one takes upto 12 weeks
