Hi,
I have scheduled the appointment on 16th June at BLR VFS. I am prepared for everything, except for onething.

I have a big doubt on source of Maintenance funds. I have been maintaining over and above 2800 pounds for the last 3 months. In the middle of this period, there was some considerable amount credited into my account. Do I have to provide an explanation for this...? Even without this credit I am able to meet the maintenance funds requirements.

Please help me on this.

Thanks a ton.

Hi Guys,

Type of application : WP to Tier 1
Application Sent : 10th May 2008
Payment taken : 12th May 2008
Ref number : PB305**
Faxed urgent treatment on 9th June 2008
Status : Approved on 10th June 2008

I will like to say that urgent treatment works for Tier 1.

New Tier-1 Application - Please help!!

Post by nevadawipes » Thu Jun 12, 2008 1:37 pm

hello there!

i am applying for the tier-1. i am just stuck at the section-D ( immigration history ) and just wondering if someone can guide me on that please.
i enetered uk intially on WHM in jan2004 but just before my visa was due to expire, i went back to my home country and applied for students permit and got it and technically came back to uk before the WHM expiered. so now when they are asking a question ( D3. When was the entry clearance or visa issued?? )in the Tier-1 form when did u enter the country. wht should i mention did i mention jan 04 (when i came intially to UK) or dec 05 ( when i eneterd the uk on student ).
please help!!

regards

Hi all!
Sorry for not providing much details about my successful Tier 1.
I wanted to share following details with you.
1.In previous experience section ,I submitted my last 12 month salary slips and bank statements(4 months india+8 months uk)
In UK ,my net salary for one month was zero and another month was less than 1000 pounds due to initial advance deduction.I mentioned clearly in covering letter. That helped me lot to get Tier 1.So people who have same problem like this, need not worry to apply.
2.For maintenence fund,i arranged money just b4 the day of application for me and my dependents. So They followed atleast one day policy on or before one month from the date of application.
Once again thank you very much and wish you all get tier1 sucessfully..
Cheers,#Shivaa

Hi,

I called up the HO. This time I was relieved that a guy had picked up. I explained him my position and he checked his outgoing records and said "there is nothing that we have sent. But looking at the timeline, please expect to hear from us next week". He refused to give me any progress updates. I also said that I had faxed for urgent treatment last evening and he replied "No urgent treatment request are being considered".

I know it has become a Joke in all honesty .....people's passport have been stamped like 2-3 weeks ago and they get documents back so late and in that time when you call, they say its still under consideration ...
Dont really know if the entire system is working correctly ..... But they definately need to sort this out ... or probaly do an online tracking system. After charging such a huge money am sure they can afford that ... or mayb HSMPians can develop a software for them for free and ask them to use it .... lol

Even I sent sepcial delivery envelop, he was not.

My time line

Recived by Ho : 6th May

His Time line :

Confused with the system and dont understand it, it is frustrating like anything....

Since i had HSMP approval letter, I had not sent irrelavant pages(points scoring pages) of the application.

Does it make any difference in FLR application. Guys please clarify.
