Hello, Hope everyone is well in these challenging times.

My wife did her BRP enrolment last Month and still waiting for a decision. We waited nearly 2 years for the substantive interview after many complaints to the HO with the help from our local MP.

My question is has anyone had any decision and roughly how long does it for the decision to be made.

Straight after the interview which was in November 2020 my wife was required to submit further evidence in the form of my sons British passport, Birth Certificate and utilities bill on her name which we did. Then after couple of weeks she was invited for BRP enrolment and since then we have been waiting for the decision.

Hi Indu & Still waiting. I wasn't asked to submit further evidence since my application is under 6 months. I think they only ask for further evidence if your application is outstanding for more than a year and they want to see up to date info to decide. Fingers crossed, hope for the best

Hi Indu, no child in UK just me hope we will get news soon.

Hi Londondream, Home office only request for more evidence,if they feel the one you submitted is not enough, some people received grant without submitting more evidence, moreover my Futher submission was 6months old when I receive a letter from Home office requesting for further evidence, sometimes it works by luck.

Hi all,so after waiting over 3 and half years for an asylum initial decision, the ho only sent me a work permit on shortage occ, even though I didn't ask for it. It didn't come with national insurance number. Am wondering why they should do that instead of just giving me the decision after a long wait.
So incase I start working, will they stop the weekly allowance and can i do care work with the permit?
And how do i get the national insurance number?
