I believe it still gonna take as long decisions may be made within 41 days but applicants will not get passport until the 60 day mark may be possible with Olympic rush out of the way there is a saying set the expectations high and under deliver which is wot I believe maybe happening at bhc, they have set expectation of 24 weeks and delivering within or just after 12 weeks. I personally feel need to see more 41 day cases before I believe the statement of 41 days.

What i found quite odd is how the passports have visas issued around 5 weeks before being called for collection.

Why not just call the applicants when visa has been granted.

Quite a few of the January apps had visa granted on i think it was 13th of March and were called from collection last week.

does anyone had their husband/wife questioned in the airport.? and how long do they take or do they have to do immigration questions and stuff lol.

Henna,

Provided your husband has all his docs with him, isn't carrying anything he shouldn't be, you will have no issues.

Tell him to make sure he has his TB test results with him as that is most frequently ask for.

I hav a number of reasons in my mind for my visa not 2 b granted sis and bros i think im goin into depression. What 2 do seems not even half way yet. Congrats 2 all, really sorry 2 hear about it king i know how u feel. TRUST ME.

I recommend you to ask your hubby to make all relevant documents handy along with TB Certificate.

my mp e-mailed me that she has contacted the BHC nd she will respond to me as soon as she gets a reply!! hope she gets some type of response today!!

I would love to believe that the youtube video of Mr thompson British high commisoner saying that the average turnaround for settlement is around 41 days, its hard to understand because people are still waiting from January and Feb?

has Anyone had Verification calls yet to confirm Employment and a personal Call to clear some points like an Interview with ECO?

just like to hear if anyone has already that had applied roughly or before me?

i emailed BHC from my email address on behalf of my hubby asking for an update. i got the reply that bcoz im the sponser they cant update me due to data protection. as my hubby isnt much familiar with email with his permission i emailed them from his email address. do u guys think they will email back with an update now. im kinda scared in case they find out its me emailing them. have any of you's emailed and got a response??
plz sum1 reassure me :-s lol

whenever your contacting BHC to avoid delays and to speed things up..

ALWAYS email them in the capacity of the Applicant..

wel the only thing i can think of is the last batch of applications which got sent back from the embassy their visa's were stamped few weeks before the people actually got their passports back!!

but at the moment the applications which are under process are definately taking more than 41 days??

60 working days for me today!!
