Hi Syma, I called the court last monday as i wanted to make sure. They told me that they were working on the 2nd April application.
Do they still take the money out before hand what i mean is if the ECO has not made his decision why do they take the money out before hand.

I think im gonna check my account and see if they have taken mine out.I was really hoping by now i would had have a letter telling me the dead line ect ect......... I suppose like King says we need to be patient....

Syma.....

I read your message... this will sound stupid shall i call them or just wait they have not taken payment out of my account.
I know it got there as it was registered but it got there on the 19th so if they are only on the 5th then i have a long wait..

I was hoping they would look at the compassionate letter....lol by the time they see the letter i will have already probably given birth....

I have been following this message board for the last couple of months, and have found it a useful source of information. Its comforting to read that people are going through the same process/ anxieties etc. (Not that keen on the religious stuff- sorry!- but I skim over those bits)

Thank you all.

No news as yet though and its been 60+ working days for us....

check ur account details they might have taken out the fee already it'll show something like 140 debtd to direct.go.uk...

yes they take the fee anyway even if it doesnt go to the court:s

I think they deal with appeals according to the dates they are recieved on, for them to even read ur letter they'll have to reach appeals recieved on 20th april. i know it sux big time bt pateince is the key, i know this appeal thing is v v v important but dont let it distract you from the very important event your going to have InshAllah, look forward to having the baby inshAllah baqi sub saath saath tik hu jaye ga.

call them in about two weeks and see where they are with their appeal registering dates x

I think it will matter cos if they ask for it at airport an its expired ur in trouble.
Either get him to get a new one or tell him to get an earlier flight. :D

Someone we know had a similar issue, in the end they spend 8 hours extra in the airport getting a TB test done. They didn't let her in until the test was done. So don't take the risk, tell him to get an earlier flight. It's usually free to change your flight once.

i am not sure about other places but in islamabad they give u the appointment for the xt day if not the day after that. u get the certificate on the same day when the test is done.

AOA som1984,

as long as you have sent photocopies of everything, then you get the orginals back and they will hold onto the photocopy.

If there is a document they want to hold onto and you have not sent a photocopy then they will keep the original.

It is in their guidance notes, that photocopies be sent with the orginals just for this purpose.
