No they just said that documents are being returned will be contacted when ready for collection.

It's hard try not to worry! And book the flight to see your wife I don't know how you've managed to stay apart for that long!

Sounds good, as long as you've explained adequate maintenance properly you should be fine and have sufficient logs of communication.

Documents seem fine as well. Though your birth certificate is not necessary and only 1 bank statement is required when applying under financial exemption.

Keep us posted!

I wouldn't take the chance. You don't want an expired TB test to be a reason for a refusal.

You mean when you were a baby? I don't think they're going to be bothered about knowing where someone travelled when they were a baby/infant.

Anyways, keep us posted!

Final question are they meant to send a text to confirm the passport being collected after the Gerry office have called? Wasn't nervous this morning I am now... No second email or text eek insert million worried emojis.

That's it will not post anything until I know now!

If you paid for the texting service, then yes you should receive a text message. My wife received a text and moments later she also received a call telling her to collect her passport the next day.

She didn't receive any emails apart from the initial email when the application and documents were received at BHC.

Hi everyone,

Been a while since I posted last.
Just wanted to know any Karachi applicants here who applied in February? Any updates they have on their applications?

Thanks!

IA I hope it's over ASAP.

Appeal was allowed on the 20th of Jan but my wife still hasn't had a call letter. I've chased them quite a few times and this is the most recent response:

'Allowed determination received under process for further enquiries checks'

What else could they possibly be processing/checking?[/quote]

Lol god knows!?! I don't know much about appeals but whats the "call letter"?
Hope everything works out for you :)

Nope don't think they're done with Karachi's February applications. Apparently they are very slow with Karachi. Other VACs are still better especially Mirpur and Lahore applicants. But it depends a lot on ones luck as well.

I applied late February.

So I submitted my online application on 24th Feb 2015
Biometrics on 2nd March 2015.

Hoping to hear from them soon. They still have time. 12 weeks for me are still not over.

Good luck to everyone else.
