Hi All;

After the drastic changes in immigration rules on 06/04/2014, pre 9th July, 2012 PBS dependents won't be able to combine any time spent as PBS dependent with FLR(M) to qualify for ILR and their qualifying time period of 5 years will start from the day they are granted an FLR(M), if the main applicant gains indefinite leave to remain based on 10 years of long residence.

I am sure there would be hundreds including me who are being affected adversely with this change in rules because this means that we are no more covered under the transitional arrangements - Part 8.

We are now about to challenge the rule in coming week. Please come forward and join us

I have applied 26.9.14 and Bio received 17.11.14 and enrollment done on 26.11.14. It's been not only so frustrating but also worrying too as I haven't received anything from them yet. i have literally called everyday last week and same old reply.."App under progress". Now, does anyone know whether applications being processed on the basis of Application date or Bio-metric date.
Hi effell007.
According to home office application considered on the basses of application date not biometric date if you enrole your biometric within 15 days of biometric enrolment invitation letter date. I understand it is very frustrating and very painful to wait specially when we have spent 10 best years of life in here. But remember patience is vitru. May almighty Allah give you and all other waiting success and approval soon.

Thanks mazeen1910 and Chudary for your prompt reply and suggestion. Last Friday when i Called HO a lady surprising told me processing time is based on bio-metrics date. She recons late Bio-metric enrollment may causing the delay. However, i will call late afternoon again to HO and update you accordingly.

Good idea, call them and see. Also I noticed your biometric date is unusually late for someone who applied in September but than can happen if the case worker was on leave etc so nothing to worry. See what the HO says today.

Absolutely spot on Brother.

Further add on, if we win the case; all Pre-July 2012 dependent of long residence don't have to meet the INCOME THRESHOLD OF £18600 as well.

Lets come forward please and join either our Facebook page or whats-app group. Make your contribution and save not only yours but others families too for going into stress and anxiety.

Thanks

Hi Vickylol....

Happy to hear that u got ur ILR last year and sorted to get ur Citizenship soon Inshahallah.

Actually I am almost in same situation as u were last year and would need some advice from u regarding supporting documents for my application.

My history is as follows.

4.5 Year Student + 2 Year PSW + 3.5 Year non EU family member( with 5 Year Resident Card as family member of EU).

I would like to apply for long residence IRL as my PR is due in 2016 and would not like to wait for one more year.

I have all my passport + Life in UK test + Master Degree from UOL (Queen Mary)
My EU partner is part time Employed since Dec 2012 before was self Emp throughout.

I am employed through out and have tenancy agreement together , joint council tax but no joint Bank statements.

Plz let me know exactly you have submitted for your application.

I would really appreciate.

Hello Everyone,

One of the silent reader wishing to share-

Received letter from UKBA querying to send original PTE Score Report. Apparently they were unable to access my report.

On asking PTE about this issue they said while registering for PTE exam there was an option of third party access to score (something like that) and I did not tick it.

Anyways had to send a copy of PTE Score report to UKBA and asked PTE to allow access UKBA to view and verify report.

Now waiting game starts........
