My time line

Application sent: 27-12-2014

Acknowledgment recieved : 07-01-2015
Biometric invite: 08-01-2015
Biometric enrolled : 17-01-2015
Documents received : waiting

question : I did not receive any type of communication from HO since my biometric done. Are they(HO) asking to any other government agency like, HMRC. Because I got some tax due with HMRC, which I am going to clear very soon. Is this matter really affecting my case, any negative impact?

Hi All,

Congrats for all those who got approvals, especially to the January applicants.

Just rang HO and they are still confirming that they are currently processing December Settlement applications.

Hazmalik,
Mzi103,
Mathwson,
Boston

Can any of the above applicant confirm

1. Whether they received any email from HO confirming the Case ID, if yes did they mention that the application is getting processed in Liverpool or Bristol. I believe they are processing application in 2 different places.

2. Does their approval letter/acknowledgement letter state Liverpool address or Bristol.

Thanks

When I spoke to the HO yesterday, the rather unhelpful guy said they are processing November applications and gave me a Liverpool PO Box address.

Congrats Electic. Was your case straightforward? Also, did you get the approval from Liverpool/Bristol?
Cheers!

I am in very weird situation. I have received my BRP yesterday but I have not received my documents and any approval letter before BRP. It seems like on the board that applicants get their approval letter and documents first then get BRP. There is no red card in the post as well that shows I have missed the post.
Could any one confirm that How HO send your documents back and has anyone received the documents after BRP card Arrival.

First of all thanks konprode for the effort to create and maintain the spreadsheet.

Poirot, I am new to this board and new to the discussion, I am a bit puzzled about the Liverpool/Bristol handling.

I received letters by post and email notifications with case ID. How do I find which centre handles my case? Is it important? Does decision depend on centres? (yes I know I sound dumb, but you can assume the stress).

I green - there's mention of Bristol / liverpool by another user earlier & I asked just to understand if one of the centres were working faster. There doesn't seem to be any evidence of that yet.

Hi Poirot

Please search this topic with word "Bristol" and you will understand why I ask this question.

Earlier, applicants get letters/approvals from both Liverpool and Bristol. Also some received emails from HO regarding application and some didnt.

Thanks

I just got a call from my lawyer saying my docs had been returned and application approved.
case was straightforward. haven't picked up my docs from the lawyer yet so I can't say if they're from Liverpool or bristol.

By the grace of almighty Allah I received my documents today. Still waiting for BRP. I applied on 7th January. could someone please update the tracker next to my name ZFDar. Thanks to all those board members who promptly advised me when I was sending my application. :)

One quick question... I have one baby girl born in November last year. I registered her with the local council that time. Now, what is the procedure to register her with Home Office as she born in the UK. What forms do I need to fill up and where those forms need to be submitted. I'll really appreciate your help. Thanks

Also, Good Luck to all those applicants who applied in January or before that as HO is picking up a gear now to sort out the applications.

Hi all,

just to let you all know, Today we received my wife's visa approved, but they refused her FLR-M application because she had done B1 English language certificate (trinity College London) rather than A1... quite Silly as B1 is higher qualification than A1. any ways good news is they gave my wife 30 months visa under Private family life under 10 years as she has already spent 8 years in the UK and we have 3 uk born children who are British now as i have got ILR.

i thought to share this info as it could help many people like me. Best of luck everyone.

Regards,

Addy

Hello Friends.

I am thrilled to announce to you that i have just signed and received my ilr brp this afternoon. I had a one year gap due to Pankina ruling but I argued that I made every effort to obey the immigration rule and that it was the H O's error that caused the gap. It was a straight forward application and the whole process took 4 months. Please find below my timeline:
Application posted-06 Dec 2014
Acknowledgement rcvd: 12 Dec 2014
Bio invite letter: 20 Dec 2014
Bio enrolled: 29 Dec 2014
Documents returned: 18 March 2015
BRP received: 19 March 2015
If your issue with 10 yr long res. is a gap due to Pankina ruling only you can apply through lawyers if you have several hundreds of pounds to dash but if you were down to zero like me(which was indirectly due to this Pankina issue anyway) you can apply on your own and just point to them that it was their fault. The law is on your side. Best wishes to you all.
