Hello, Greetings to you all who have made this forum so informative.

I believe my application should be straight forward but which to get an advice as in intend to apply next week.

(1) Firstly,
I first arrived in the Uk as a visitor , 1st of April 2005 stayed in UK for 3 weeks then returned back to my own country and returned back in to the UK June 15th 2005 ( spending about 75days out) on a student visa and has never left the country since then till date.

Questions 1... Does my entry as a visitor count in my 10 years or I have to wait till June 15th to make my ILR application.

(2) Secondly,

I am currently on a point base dependant visa with 10years stay made up of shown below
1. Visiting visa-----------------April 2005
2. Study Visa-------------------June 2005 - Jan 2012
3. PSW-------------------------- Feb 2012 - Feb 2014
4. Student dependant-------- April 2014 till Dec 2018

Question 2. Since April 2015 will make it 10years in the country , am I entitled to apply for ILR and if so what form am I to use.

Kindly advice as I look forward to making an application ASAP.

Many Thanks

As long as you have all your document with you, you don't have gaps or on appeal i don't think you need any lawyer, they will just charge you to fill your form and make photocopies.

Should removed CcJs (which were paid within a month, and do not appear on file) also be mentioned on application form?
if you are satisfied that is not on your file, then no need to talk about it.

Any Ideas on this one ?
Na74 wrote:Hello Guys...Urgent Help Needed.

How long does a PBS dependent Visa holder have to switch, if main applicant get ILR ? For Example, Tier 1 Dependent Visa Expires 31/08/2016, Main Applicant gets ILR on 30/04/2015. Now dependent still has Tier 1 Dependent Visa still valid, but main applicant has got an ILR, so my question, how long does the dependent have to apply for Settled person dependent ? Can He/She wait till visa expiry or do they need to apply immediately.. if so , what is acceptable time period ?

Thanks

Please help, I have applied and gained my ILR on 30 march 2015 on the basis of Long residence. My family members (wife and 2 children) are still on T1 entrepreneur visa. My wife and elder child have visa till 19th of September 2015. 10 days short before they complete their 10 yeas on 29th of September 2015. Please guide if they can apply under 10 year rule within last 28 days and their application will not be refused?

Also guide for my another child who was born in the UK in may 2011- what visa shall we apply for her as she will not be completing her 10 years and she will be finishing her Entrepreneur dependant visa on 19th of Sept 2015.

Please help

Hi all,
I'm very new here. Just registered as I realised how great this forum is. Thanks all for your contributions
Congrats to all who have received ILR on a long wait and good luck to all those who are awaiting decisions! (including myself!) 8)

Would very much like to see the "tracker" that everyone is mentioning about to see the recent time frames, as I noticed several people got their outcomes quite quickly.
Is it an attachment? Can someone please help? :!:
Thank you.

Hi EJ,

Answers
1) As far as I'm aware, visitor visa doesn't count towards anything - be that tourist or student visitor.
But please do check as rules keep changing always!
So if I were you, I'd wait till June to the safe side. You don't want it rejected and risk huge fees!

2) If applying on the 10 year rule it is the Set LR form you need, I believe.

And good luck!

If I forget to mention about TOEIC during my interview ? Do u think they will refused my ILR application .
The interviewer asked me is there any other English language test I did ? I only said IELTS but did not mentioned about TOEIC

Well that's a great news, at least for those doesn't want to wait months :D

Question is - If someone has FLR(FP) pending and meet the requirements for 10 years long residence, can they still apply for Same Day service ?

Yes they changed details for same day service on their website too, which says you can apply for same day for ilr (all i think). Just need to pay £400 at the time of booking.

if you still have to send an application, fill new form etc... then yes you should be able to use the service. But if application is already with HO then you can not change ?
