I was under the impression that only the pay slips and the bank statements fell under the 28 day rule. The employment letter can be older.

My first post but i have been a silent reader for a while

Well some say it's only payslip and bank statement, but I personally know one person who was asked for an updated letter and one person was refused, why leave anything to chance

Basically he just signs in on the visa4uk account pays the online fee then books biometric appointment and prints out the filled in application form and signs the end page where it says applicant signature and then he sends this form to u and tb test certificate and English certificate along with any other documents e.g translated nikka namma

I don't think mine is within the 28 days . This is a piss taker. It only mentions bank stats in the Appendix FM

People please don't worry regarding the 28 days old employment letter, this is only a few cases and depends who u have assessing your papers, these days they refuse on stupid things, just do dua and inshallah visas will be granted I'm not saying everyone who's employment letter is older than 28 days will get rejected im just saying a few people have I know its not mentioned in the appendix so people are having to appeal against the decision Eco makes so just make sure all papers aren't too old anyway, this will reduce risk of being rejected or asked for additional documents therefore reduce visa processing time
