Hi guys
if i was to send all documents to islamabad ...would they forward all my stuff to sheffield anyway....?? i quote from the article found here

what is meant by transition period?? how long will this last

I started my permanent job on 01/10/14 and applied for visa on 02/04/15. That's a full 6 months from my job start date, so I would only need to submit 6 months wage slips right?

What are your monthly payslips coming to gross

£1583.33 at the time of visa application but one wage slip was £1746.65 due to a business trip I went on and was reimbursed for the petrol I used in car. Because the wage is different would that be a problem?

My employer wrote a letter stating my annual salary and perm position but didn't actually mention any wage slips. I didn't know that wage slips would need to to be stamped.

What he wrote was an employment letter. Ideally this should also be within 28 days of applying along with your last bank statement/payslip. Hopefully it was.

But since your payslips were online, it was vital to get them stamped/cover letter stating authenticity.

3.3.7. Payslips must be original formal payslips issued by the employer and showing the employer’s name, or be accompanied by a letter from the employer, on their headed paper and signed by a senior official confirming they are authentic.

I have only once requested for an update on 15th June and it esaclated with this response on 22nd June:

"Initial pre assessment and online verification conducted . Application is under process for further enquiries – checks'

Feeling anxious now!

Yeah my employment letter was 6 days old at the time of the online application. I didn't realise the wage slips needed to be stamped. Cocked that up. heartbroken.

You may still get lucky, don't lose hope just yet!

i don't mean to be rude but if u have no solid proof or information don't reply as people are getting anxious, to one comment u have just replied "no" and the person was not asking for a yes/no answer

My first wage was £1583.33 as well. They pay you a full months wage initially regardless of what date you've joined the company.

Yes that's what I'm clinging on to. That they check with HMRC and are able to determine the information they have been provided with is correct. I know some people have been given visas when they've messed up slightly on their paperwork. It's all about kismet really. If it's meant to be, it will be. If not the Allah swt knows best.

If i send my docs to ISLAMABAD, do they forward everything to sheffield?? My wifes appointment confirmation e-mail states:

"When attending your appointment you must take with you a print out of your appointment confirmation, a print out of your visa application (signed and dated), any supporting documents and the appropriate fee (unless already paid online)"

Supporting documents is everything surely? appendix form/communication evidence/accomdation report etc

Its contradictory of them to say send to sheffield yourself from the UK....then ask her to bring everything to ISLAMABAD?!!

Brother they have a transition period where for a few weeks were they will forward it to Sheffield but after that they won't, so it's best just to send everything to Sheffield yourself, your wife should just submit passport and everything else u should forward to Sheffield, I think they are still getting used to it all themselves hence y you got that email

Yes from date of biometrics they don't even really look at the documents until 5/6 weeks after the date because so many people apply, so as soon as wife has been to appointment, and u have all the documents with u in the UK then send them to Sheffield asap

Authenticating e-payslips is an important requirement. But all the best! You should be finding out the outcome anytime soon now. Keep us posted.

Yes its safe u can use skynet, they are reliable and cheap, dhl charge loads, or if uno someone come from pak tell them to bring it

Hopefully with the employment letter, employment contract and bank statements showing money going in, along with the payslips it should be sufficient proof of employment and income.
