Hi Az7980

I applied roughly same time as you ( biometrics on 26 in lahore and received in islamabad on 27/5/15), i emailed them 2 days ago and i received an email saying that my application has not yet been assessed by ECO.

Can you advice me on anything you did different , i.e did you escalate ( when/ and how many times)

Jzk

By the way you didnt roughly apply same time as me, you DID apply the same time as me.

I have been getting all sorts of weird replies from ukvi helpline. First my application had been "online verification done" then it was "in progress" then last week i got "yet to be assessed" this blew my fuse so i emailed them again and they asked for 1-10 info and they got back to me yday saying in 2 emails that my application had been assessed and a decision had been made and in the other one that it had been 'concluded'
So dont look too much in to the replies. For a while my application was going back in time.

Yep same time indeed,

So would you recommend me sending a strong email back or should i just give them a call in next couple of days? Visa is for my spouse so would you recommend her calling from pakistan or should i call from uk on 00 44 1243 217 905 ?

Sorry if these are really basic questions

cheers

received delay e-mail saying Your UK visa application is currently under consideration at the British High Commission in Islamabad.
Unfortunately, the processing of your application has been delayed while we undertake further checks. This means that we will be unable to make a decision within our published customer service standards.

No question is basic. No dont send a strong email. "Kya kar raha hai yaar." You call them tomorrow or the day after but have all the info available.

This wait is killing me. I don't no I think I worry too much.
I hope june apps find out in August middle or end of this month.
Although I calculated 12 weeks to fall into next month september.
I hope it doesn't go the whole 12 weeks. Or more.
Looks like may people are close to the end.
Good luck to all
Thanks again.

Two days left inshallah the ppl waiting will soon get a positive response, the NHS refund theory does appear to be correct now. So maybe of u who ain't recieved it ...it's a positive sign.

I haven't paid NHS fee as mine was a fiance application so I wouldn't know. But rest of you remain positive it all works out in the end.

i dont know about the Sheffield business but yes your final payslip and your statement will be within 28 days. the rule applies for financial documents yes but make sure the work documents like reference letter etc are also within the 28 days. Make as many documents recent as possible.

Tehmina just a quick question not quit sure how things will speed up after 14 august. Don't the Entry clerance officer take holidays in august. If anything i would think they would be short staff due to hoilday session. And things would be a bit slow. But i hope i'm wrong.

Does anyone no if the ECO are gora white guys from here in the uk over there. Only thinking if the have family over here some ECO staff will be taking holidays ( sorry if this sound bad, got to ask)

I think the ECO are goray I'm damn sure.
The probably have some pakistani ECO but tbh a pakistani person is more likely to approve a visa ....because ppl do go that extra mile for their own ppl...Thats my theory lol and obviously BHC want less people coming in to the UK!

Okay got it. Sorry read it clearly now
But do you think if we do get the visa then all this delay will cut in to our 30 day to travel period considering if they give the visa from the day when the "application has been processed and a decision has been made"
