As you people know dual citizens have overseas CNIC issued to them which says their Pakistani address too as well as their UK address

Our Nadra marriage certificate only has the Pakistani address on it. The Urdu nikkah nama (and English translation) has UK address. Would it create any problem ?

Hi Has any one submitted an application after 6th July. Has anyone received any confirmation email after submitting passport at vac and posting documents to UK Sheffield office ? I have seen a few posts where a few people have mentioned that they did not confirmation email?

I send the documents to Sheffield on 13 July
And on 14 July biometric done, there is no
Email/text of passport received/reached at bhc.
Also not acknowledgement of documents received at
Sheffield ,

It might be a good idea to get it changed cos u hav not submited ur docs good luck

From what I've seen, they email some applicants to say they've received the documents but others they don't. Unfair really but maybe you could phone UKVI to check if they do have it?

When u are refused/rejected ur spouse visa. Does a letter to the sponser be sent also? Or is it just the spouse who receives a letter wen they go to pick up passport from office?

My wife did bio on 13/07/15 and also submitted docs at Mirpur. Didn't know about the Sheffield thing at the time.

I got email on 29/07/15 to say docs have been received and being prepared to be assessed by a ECO

Rizwan, I was thinking of escalating it on my 10th week (24th August) because a lot of people have got their visas within 10 weeks so that seems like a good time for us to start chasing it up?

You can email them at any stage at any time it's doesn't effect the outcome of the application. I have read this on there official website.

Did u pay the extra 200 rupees?? Also they probably just letting u know they have the documents don't worry nothing to worry about, any form of we have your documents is fine

And I will make dua all of you get a quick and positive reply soon inshallah.plz note that this case was a very complex case not your normal straight forward case and if this can be granted anything can happen.i wished I had done it few years ago.
I just cannot wait for him to join be back again in the UK.

I also want to let you know that the solicitor I used was the best in north west. I'm not saying this because the visa was granted. He's got 40 years experience in immigration law. Someone recommended him to me a few years ago but I didn't pay any notice. Should anyone want his details inbox me.
