Indeed it seems that applications for EEA national without residence card are not being processed since around May 2014, looking at different forums. It would be interesting to hear if there are other EEA national without ILR who received a response to their application in the recent months or weeks... And would anyone have any insight as to why those applications could be on hold?assa81 wrote:Eligibility criteria: 6yrs+ residency EEA

hello everyone, I am new to this forum. I also applied in July, but looking at May and June forums I don't expect any news before October.
Plus I heard that EEA applications without ILR tend to take longer. Anyone knows anything about that?

If you are with Redbridge council you will have to wait for Oath ceremony for least 3 weeks. There are no immediate private appointments available in Redbridge or any genral....syb007 wrote:Finally!

Application based on PR holder plus 1 year.
Will update as at when I have more information.
I checked my account yesterday - 07/08/14 - and can see the payment of £906 hanging so that means it was processed yesterday.
To my surprise I got an email today confirming payment has been taken and my application is being considered, it also include a case ID, I guess they wont be sending out letters again and all is done by email now ( I support this if thats the case). I guess that was why they updated the application AN form giving preference to emails as they asked this twice to make sure its correct.
It also says the application may take up to 6 months and if they cant process my application within 6 months they will let me know as soon as possible.
Anyone else got the email too?

Same here, applied on the 17th of July, EEA national, I have a feeling that EEA applications are been held up for one reason or anothervvv wrote:Thanks for this info, I'm also EEA national without ILR certificate. This explains the long wait...

My Honest suggestion is to take step back and keep it cool, aggression is a spoil sport, I mean do not withdraw your application, Leave that in that queue. You could write an email to HO explaining your situation regarding the expiry of EEA2 visa, since you are already in a process and in queue of naturalisation past 3+ month, should you apply for your extension or should you be waiting to hear on the current application.arsenik1973 wrote:Hi Guys
I recently wrote to my MP about my situation and i wait her response. If she get same response that i got it(still in progress),then i will withdraw my application as my EEA2 visa expire at end of next month. Then As soon as i get my documents back i will apply for ILR.Otherways i will risk my WEEA2 visa to expire soon.
I know i cant get my bloody money back. But sometimes we have to take tough decision. So now i wait for MP response.

Language criteria met: B1 test (Expired Pearson test of English) + Life in the uk
Method of application: NCS Bedford
Date of application: 29/07/2014
Payment method: Debit Card
Date of debit or clearance of fees: 9/08/2014
Date acknowledgment received : 14/08/2014
Date of Approval: Waiting
Update: I called today to get the progress status of my application and the guy I spoke to informed me that my application is still under consideration and further checks was requested on the 9th of October.
Now I know someone is dealing with my application. However, I cant get my head around the fact that checks were requested less than a month ago. My application is over 3months yet the wait continues.....
So annoying
