Just to update regarding my application:
Applied on 13 april at VFS Hyderabad
Received SMS today afternoon 15.30 IST
waiting for Blue dart courier, i reckon I might get it by monday at the latest.

good luck mate all the best please let us know when u get ur passpert thanks its exactly 50 working days seems like apart from mumabi every other place in India turning applications around in 50 days

Update with my application: Received the passports with visa stamped for 27 months on saturday.
Just to let you know the visa is actually valid from 23 july. I think the reason they gave the validity was because on the form we filled planned journey date on first page as july 24. I didn't had any idea that they will actually take that date on application while issuing the visa.
Anyways if anyone filled in the journey travel date a bit late then be prepared to get visa post dated.

Just called BHC... they just said under process.... they cant say how much more time it can take... its really frustrating... 13th week started today...

My wife's boss got a call from BHC today to enquire abt her job.... they asked several questions.... but my wife is yet to get call from them....

interseting after 56 days they decided to check about her job i think they will be just confirming it before sending your passport back to see if every thing ok has your wife spoken with them and once she does i beleive you should get passport back within 5 days just my opinion

My wife said BHC called at 11:30 am UK time.... so i guess they called from UK only & not from Mumbai BHC... Can any1 tell me does decision has been taken today???

No bro nothing yet....

Processing time has been updated on VFS site.... & only 37% applications has been finalized in 60 working days and rest in 90 working days for mumbai North.

OMG I just noticed it Delhi is 79% in 60 days as well so looks like they have purposely started to work on turtle pace

i have applied for my spouse visa from VFS HYD on 28th april 2011

Application status still says Application under process at the BHC on 30th june 2011

i know its only been 42 working days including today but its really getting tence as the days are passing.

could any one applied from HYD let me know how long did it take please ?

hi mate if u look at old feeds and processing times at hyderabad is 60 working days and someone got their visa just last week after 50 days i hope this give u some idea

applied on 19th April at delhi 50 days done seems like years
