Post by far150811 » Mon Feb 06, 2012 9:02 pm

Hi Guys!!! by allahs help finally I received my long waited ILR, guys believe me please do not give up until you get what you deserved after long 10 years... my case was quit complicated.. I lost my first passport back in 2001, and lots of visas just a Franks, and finally last renewal was refused...and appealed then allowed etc etc... It's a long story. guys if you were here 10 years without making any crimes please do not give up your hopes!!! My time line is below

Applied 15/08/2011
ackno received 22/08/2011
ilr issued 24/01/2012
Received 03/02/2012

Documents sent, one month bank statement, LIUK test certificate, application form, and most of the letters you receive everytime you get your visa. That's all... Finally I honestly thank this form and specially vien1206 for all the time and effort he putting here.. And hope everyone get their passport soon with ILR... Best of luck.

Hi everybody , I am delighted to give you guys good news Alhamdulliah. I have just received ILR. When I applied back in september 2011, applicant were getting back their passport within 3 months. But it was not for me . I was stressed when I had completed my 2month waiting. It was too much for me because I had a plan to go to back home during the christmas break. But obviously I could not go .so all around stessed . and this stressed just been expired now  .
I am really greatful how this forum helped me to know all of stuffs. Specially Vien and ah_kassem . this people are wonderful. Thank you a lot.
My case was straightforward from my point of view. I always extended my visa ontime. No Gap.but it took me 140 days nearly double than I had expected earlier.
My time line:
Application 19/09/2011 ( recorded delivery)
Acknowledgement date : 22/09/2011
Money taken: 26/09/2011
ILR Stamp date and location: 24/01/2012
Passport received  : 07/02/2012 ( they used my prepaid envelop that I provided )

Just one thing I would like to say to people who are waiting,.. have faith to your God and keep waiting. You will get your moment .

thanks

Hi thanks for your important question. first of all I want to wish you good luck for your future ILR application.

According to my point of view, Strength of connection refers to something like, if someones have a family life or simillar kind of relationship with a british or settled person. likewise applicant wife or husband is british or a settled person. settled person means ( somone who have ILR ). It also refers to someone who got a blood connection uncle or aunty here, who are already settled in UK. But it is not something that you have to have a strong connection with a british settled person or have to have a family here, but sometimes it may help your application as a support if you have one.

I would like to add I got acknowledgement letter from Croydon office.
I had impression all the settlement applications are handled at Liverpool office.
Its so strange you send paperwork to Durham and acknowledgement from Croydon.
