Re: COA

Post by justice12 » Thu Feb 16, 2012 7:07 pm
I got the same reply, only that mine was dispatched on 2 February, and as of today, still nothing in my mailbox. Is it common for the documents to arrive weeks after it was dispatched? I notice that for some people, there can be up to 3 weeks period between when it was issued and received. Is the doc sent on the date it was issued? which means it could take up to 3 weeks to arrive? Thanks everyone.
HI nonabidut did you get your document yet ? and did the ukba told you what sort of document are ? coz Iam still waiting for mine !!!
No, I havent received anything yet! In fact, I failed to mention that what I am waiting for is only my COA, sad really, cause I sent my application on December 9th, which means, 9 weeks and still no COA! I am just concerned that it might be lost by the post, because today I received my partner's Registration Certificate, issued on the 8th (Feb), while mine was dispatched on the 2nd, and still nothing...................................................
I hope you will receive your RC soon.[/quote

I believe if it was just a SOA they would sent it to you in the letter and it's take just 3 days to arive, but here they are sending you a parcel !!!! witch it could be your document not COA, coz I did not recieve my COA neither .

i am pretty sure that your legal status changes as soon as your married.COA is just a proof of that,no harm in trying doe plus your employer can phone HO employee checking service to confirm.good luck

So Justice12, have you received your documents yet? I haven't. HO has confirmed that it is indeed my COA that they are sending me.

Hello
I have good news today
06/10 EEA2 form has been sent
05/11 Received refusal letter with documents
06/11 Sent new EEA2 form with some extra evidence
18/02 Received residence card – sticker in passport for 5 years (issued on 17 Jan)

And I have a question now
What to do if I exchange my passport
How to transfer this residence sticker?

Many thanks!
I didn’t include a letter from the employer in my first application
but have been included 4 monthly payslips and EEA1 residence card.
We are married pair with joint children.

Good luck :)
