2) TB test expiring in 22 october... is it will be valid if the entry clreance office decide the case after the 22-1-2015 application received to home office on 07-09-2015

Could you please share your thoughts on it.

Thank you
Question 1 your test is valid and on the certificate it would state date of award normally and is good up until November 15
As you have applied your well within timeframe ... by this I was referring to the changeover of city and guild to IELTS

Question 2 the tb test only has to be valid application
Once applied then it doesn't matter if it expires whilst processing
Hello Sajjad ,

Thank you very much for your kind information?

1) you means english test from city and guild trough SLS Islamabd is is good , so i dont need to worry about it.
2) TB test also look good.

I had a quick question I was hoping you guys could help me with. I received an email on Aug 25th from Sheffield asking me to send them a pre-paid envelope. After going through the forum I followed the procedure used by a lot of members. (Special delivery pre-paid bag inside a envelope sent first class recorded: Sent on 28th August) Now I have been tracking the envelope daily but the status has not changed from "We have your item". I have rang emailed the UKVI and they have told me there cannot check to see if it has arrived. They told me if it does not then Sheffield will ask for another one. I was wondering if anyone else was in the same situation when they sent off their envelope.

Thanks in advance

Congratulations to all those who have recently received good news. Keep strong to all those waiting. :)
Hello yes this correct i have enclosed the pre-paid recorded delivery as per last week per home office and sent to Sheffield office.

do you know how long it take to process the documents from Sheffield office.

my wife application details given below.

Online Application: 21/08/2015
Biometric @ Islamabad: 26/08/2015

Hi. I have been visiting this forum regularly for my spouse visa preparations and I have gained invaluable information from your experiences. I will be applying for my UK spouse visa from Pakistan in November start. My husband is a British national. I have few queries on which I would like some guidance:
1. Can any independent agency conduct house inspection or it has to be done by the council? My husband is currently renting a flat.

2. What are the supporting documents which should be dated within 28 days time frame?

3. I intend to travel in mid of January so what intended travel date should I put in the online application?

4. My husband's current employment started from 1st may 2015. We will be providing bank statements and pay slips from May to Oct. Is this time period enough?

Thank u in advance!

1. Estate agents also help in terms of survey reports.
2. All documents except your english language test and tb test should be dated within 28 days of application date.
3. You can put your intended date of travel as such.
4. 6 months payslips and statement, you are good to go.

Salaam Waqar,

You cannot really put your finger on the time they take to process your application. Some people get a reply between the 10-12th week and some have been waiting nearly 20 weeks! There was a member a few weeks ago, who had his application accepted within 4weeks. Everyone's case is different.

Looking at your timeline I would recommend you start asking for updates from around the middle of November.

Stay strong everyone. :)

I'm totally freaking myself out because when I asked for an update 2 days ago it was still waiting to be seen by an ECO officer. I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad one or if that was just an automated message sent at the time
