Hi Everyone,

Sent an email to HO requesting for an update regarding my EEA4 Application with my Itinerary showing that am travelling in April 2012. They replied the same day saying that according to their records, my documents were in their dispatch department and that they are going to urgently consider my request.

Hopefully I will be getting my PR this week or next week. So if anyone out there is waiting for their PR, just contact HO and see what they say.

I will update you in due course with any news..

Good Luck everyone who is waiting for their PR.

Hi all,

our timeline

17.10 - apllicayion sent
18.10 - recieved by HO
17.11 - COA
17.01 - HO requested more evidence of marriage
31.01 - evidences recieved by HO
17.02 - RC approved
13.03 - RC recieved by us

Our case was a bit complicated.... last year in feb - my husband was refused entry to UK - his Visa was false. We made application by solicitor in London - took lits of money etc. as came later on, Visa was false!! so he went back in feb last year. He's been charged by Indian law for subbmiting false documents etc. - he agried to everything and paid fine - as his laywer said its the best thing to do. In july 2011 we got married. In September we applied for FP and in October he came to UK.
If you have any more questions, ask me, happy to help :-)

Okay, I need some advice from those of you who have had success in emailing UKBA.

Here is the history of my issue:
megoizzy wrote:Hi all, great news! My COA arrived yesterday. Here's my timeline so far.

EEA2 sent - 28/01/2012
EEA2 received by UKBA - 30/01/2012
COA received 25/02/2012 (dated 22/02)

It confirms right to work, etc.

My only concern is that they have my name misspelled on the COA. Anyone experience this before? Should I phone or email them about it?
I emailed LiverpoolEuro.PassportReturns@ukba.gsi.gov.uk twice asking about the misspelled name on my COA and if they would change it/confirm it would be changed/send a new COA. I've received no response.

Is there something special you're doing to get a response via email? What sort of subject line are you using when you write to them? I feel like maybe I'm doing something wrong.

Barring that, can someone please repost the phone number I can use to try to reach them? I am at my wit's end and starting to worry they will misspell my name on the actual RC.

Gubi I guess we have to wait, i feel bad that we have to travel because now they will have to issue the visa on an A4 paper that if i lose ill be scored

Its easier to lose an a4 paper than it is a passport.

So when my a4 paper comes I will probably have to send my passport back to get it stamped properly but you know what my passport expires next year so might as well get a new one then send my a4 paper and get it stamped on the new passport

Also Gubi you might as well put your timeline on your signature so you dont hae to keep re typing it

@Samelamin,

Yesterday when I went back home from work, I found a post note that they tried to deliver a package in my name and I wasnt there so should go to the post office depot to sign for it. After emailing HO and them telling me that my docs were in their dispatch dept, I believe that this could be my PP with PR returned. I will get my package from Post office tomorrow and I hope its the one and it good news best of all.

If its my PR in the package tomorrow, my timeline would have been;

- EEA4 Application sent: - 03 Jan 2012
- HO received it: - 04 Jan 2012
- COA received: - 20 Jan 2012 but dated 18 Jan 2012
- Request via email for return of Sponsor's PP: - 21 Feb 2012
- Sponsor's PP returned via post: - 27 Feb 2012
- Sent email with my travel Itinerary for April 2012 requesting for update of application: - 12 March 2012 AM
- Response from HO that my docs are in dispatch dept: - 12 March 2012 PM
- Post note received to collect my package: - 15 March 2012
- PR receieved ?????? will update you in due course

Thanks for the update Joy. Did you ask them about your status, because when i asked about my documents they said they were sent out yesterday and I then asked if my application was decided the lady said no but she was quite hesitant which leads me to believe there is a lack of communication there.

I dont understand how they cant have a system that just sends out automatic emails of updates, I think they deliberately dont want people to know whats happening but for the life of me I cant figure out why.

Anyways keep us updated on what your news is, if you cant get your documents from the post today I say call them up and see if a decision has been made

sent the Border agency this email as i was reaching the end of my tether with waiting

Hi

I understand you are just doing your job, but could you please read this email thread and tell me if you are being at all helpful?

Its very frustrating that we have to wait 6 months with no details about the status of our application and as you can imagine it can be quite frustrating. I don't understand why you don't have a system that just sends out automatic email notification when a change is made. Wouldnt it reduce your overhead and make your work lives much easier and reduce the amount of work you do day to day?

How is it possible to inform me that my application has been assigned to a case worker but not when? It just encourages people to keep asking for updates as you are allowed to inform them if their application has been assigned to a case worker.

I hope you are at least able to forward this email to the decision makes because I along with the multitudes of people on the forums feel like we are being ignored and upset at the lack of communication that we receive.

Could you please be so kind and answer me if my application has been dealt with by the case worker or not?

Regards

This was their reply

Good Afternoon,

Thank you for your understanding, yes, I am doing my job. However, the information I have provided, is beyond the remit of my job. Applicant are advised not to request progress reports, as this has an impact on the resources currently available. Therefore, while I understand your frustrations, I am not at liberty to provide any further service than I have thus far.

What you may consider, is that you are not the only one who is guided by what is found on ‘forums’. And everyone who accesses such sights are demanding the same level of attention, (if not more) as you would like.

I am sorry, but I do my utmost to provide useful information. I can do no more.

Kind regards
