I applied for my eea2 since sept 2011 and have not heard anything, called UKBA on Friday and they said something was despatched to my address since the 13th of March but then again i have seen anything. I called them again today and they said a package was despatched to me on the 16th and will be with me soon. I don't even know what to believe but all the same i will hang in and see what happens. Fingers crossed!!!

Rang them and emailed too and was getting same response in 5 diff occasions since feb 10th!!!! Behold I rang them again today indicating no recieval of documents and the lady on d phone said that a further correspondenc has been dispatched on march 13th!!! How ridiculous!! Does home office make a decision, dispatch the documents and them one month later , dispatch another correspondence..I don't even know what to believe any more .. EEA2 Application refused, submitted again

Post by Anatole » Mon Mar 19, 2012 5:50 pm

My non EEA partner and I (EU citizen) entered into civil partnership in 2006 whilst living in the UK. We left for 4 years and returned to the UK in September 2011.
We submitted the application in October, received COA in November and in December HO wrote that the application was refused because of insufficient evidence of me qualifying to exercise my treaty rights. This was due to the fact that I am self employed and could not (yet) proof this sufficiently.
We were advised to apply again, which we did on 23 December 2012.
I have sent invoices of clients, bank statements proving income and registration as a sole trader with the HMRC. We have also given evidence of my partners income as a locum doctor. We have not however received a COA yet, which is worrying. I wrote to HO and they said that the application 'is under consideration'.

What would be the reason for the COA to take so long and is this indicative of something?

Maybe, they will just issue a RC instead of COA.

They did reply to your email, which in our chance, we are still yet to get a reply from them about our application.

wish you luck.

Gubi I guess we have to wait, i feel bad that we have to travel because now they will have to issue the visa on an A4 paper that if i lose ill be scored

Its easier to lose an a4 paper than it is a passport.

So when my a4 paper comes I will probably have to send my passport back to get it stamped properly but you know what my passport expires next year so might as well get a new one then send my a4 paper and get it stamped on the new passport

hi mate i just want to know what is the process and time scale for stamping A4 RC to new passport, because i have me in A4 and am thinking of sending my passport to HO.

Also Gubi you might as well put your timeline on your signature so you dont hae to keep re typing it
