I submitted mu appeal 26/8 got mp involved after 10 days. Mp contacted the immigrations first reply was after 2 weeks and then she had a meeting with immigration officer and discussed my case and others. Then she mailed them the meeting details. This whole process must have been 6 weeks. After this i recieved letter from court that my appeal papers have been firwarded to immigrations. I got this letter friday and my husband recieved the same letter monday. My husband got call on 26/ 10 to pay the ihs refund and next day to submitt the passport. So it took 8;weeks for all this. Now im w8ing for my final call to collect passport its been 1 week since we did that. Inshallah praying soon. If you get your mp involved your appeal even before reaching the immigration will have decided to over turn or not. So praying inshallah it will be easy for you .

It mean we have the passport fr good 6 weeks? And my solicter is keep saying it have to be overturned bcoz we havepprovided them already its just they did it instantly to make a delay out of nothing it's kinda pinching so far !!

Hi all,

My wife received her spouse visa on 28/09/2015 and is now in the UK. However, I am yet to receive the sponsor documents despite sending a paid self addressed envelope. Sheffield Visa section state that I should receive documents withing 10 working days of the visa being granted, but it has now been more than 4 weeks!!

I am wondering if you could advise about what I should do next and who I should contact to make a complaint.

Salaam Brothers and Sisters

I had a question regarding my appeal process. I started my appeal on 24th September 2015 and I have received a letter today (which you can see below, right-click and open image in a new tab if you can't view it all).

I can't make sense of this letter, I have my lawyer representing me and he assured me that this is a straight-forward case and that the British High Commission in Islamabad should reverse their decision at the 1st stage of appeal without it reaching a hearing.

This letter says the Respondent (ECO) has until 15th February 2016 to prepare relevant documents.

Does this mean the ECO declined visa at 1st stage and is preparing for a hearing? Or does it mean that the ECO has until 15th February 2016 to decide?

It doesn't mean Eco have time to respond till 15 February.
It means tribunal took time from you to wait till 15th February and will notify you after 15th February if the BHC Islamabad doesn't reverse their decision and in the last highlighted line tribunal gave instructions to BHC to write their final decision within 28 calendar days after receiving this letter either you going to reverse or uphold the original decision.

I hope now you got the point what is this letter all about.
