Hi Guys,

Just wondering what the chances are of the sponsor in receiving a call from the Home Office for an telephone interview call or just a call?

Has anyone been called by the Home Office?

Many thanks :)

Someone can receive but your spouse will have to sign an authority letter on their name to pick up the passport but better is to send your spouse.

hello,

visa refused due to divorce paper was submitted from ex for applicant in Pakistan.

Situation is: both sponsor/applicant divorced, both applicant for ex ( British) current sponsor British.

I was under the impression that applicant didn't applied as spouse previously and we didn't submitted the divorce letter, but I did submitted my decree absolute. ECO said he hasn't seen the divorce letter from applicant.

I trust ECO was under the impression there should be another decree absolute?

Questions is: in Mirpur there is no union council for nikah, but i heard the divorce letter should be attested from union council.

Could someone please advise where can we find UC in mirpur and can the divorce letter be attested from mufti just like nikah nama?

any advise would be really appreciated.

Thanks
J

Has anyone who used the priority service heard any news?
Also, if so far I've been printing call logs of every single day and the biggest gap has only been about three days but then theres a gap of about a week with no call logs to show, would that affect anything?

I have applied with Priority service and supporting docs were sent on 14th Nov so havent heard anything yet. They gave me a timeline of 20-22 days at Gerry's.

You don't need to show call logs for each and everyday day. A few of them in a month will suffice. 6 7 times a months.

I applied for my husbands visa after 2 and half years, I was advised to have a gap no longer than 2 days between conacting each other. This is because it is much easier to communicate nowadays. My evidence of this was from different things eg. whatsapp messages and calls, lycamobile sim, facetime, and it was around 250 pages long. Maybe one of the reasons I keep getting a yet to be processed reply lol.
