no news from me! still not had the phonecall yet, my mp said he spoke to the embassy and the waiting time is now 6 months because of the amount of applications they have had... i hope that the embassy are over estimating to allow themselves more time!

Hi shaz good luck for u Inshalla this time your hubby gets visa I have seen his from talla I am from Sharkia near to him . What about MP why he spoken to embassy . Is it necessary now ? I should tell my wife to talk with MP or what .

hi, i got my mp to phone them to try n make the decision faster as we have been apart for 10 months now and is causing soo much stress to us all.

insh allah we all hear soon

We applied in May and no answer as yet. I know someone who applied 7 may and they got their visa approved 18 July.

When you guys check worldbridge site for an update what's your visa status saying? Ours says arrived at visa section, does this mean they didn't even look at our application yet?

hey everyone any news on appeals, we had good news this week we had a call from embassy granting us the visa :).....it was very unexpected as they told us at least the end of August my husband will take his passport to be stamped tomorrow at last this nightmare is over and we can live our lives :).....good luck to u all

Mine is the same which means it's with the embassy stuff and your application is in process. You can find this information in their website underneath the section where you enter your reference number

Guys do you count from the day you made the fees payment or from the date you actually submitted your application ?
And it seems that everyone who applied in the middle or May and so on still waiting. Hope by next week we hear good news

all they applied in may and June and didnt get answer yet . is it mean ECOS didnt look for applications or they already look for it , start studying and how long it takes to make decision in case ?

i think its impossible all this time and applications still the same .

100% within 60 days (12 weeks).

There is someone in the form said that she/he knew someone who granted visa on 17 July and he/she applied on 7 may

in 12 weeks is not 60 days its 120 days, you make me confused now lol

95 per cent of settlement applications within 12 weeks and 100% within 24 weeks of the application date.

they count one week as 5 working days so 12 weeks is 60 working days
