I sent my application through Special delivery. After 72 hours, when I checked for proof of delivery, it says "Proof of Delivery not available for this item", but it says "The item has been delivered before the guaranteed time".

I am worried whether my application and passports reached intact.

Waiting for acknowledgement is painful.

It has been delivered. The 'Proof of Delivery' would be an electronic scan of the signature, which will take some time, as we would expect.
don't worry, JK2007, it will definitely come within next week.

raman999,
If you are in country applicant applying for FLR(HSMP), you should provide proof of funds. This can be your bank statements, or pay slips..

If you are not currently in job, it is better to show some job advertisement cuttings to show the demand in your skills. This will show that you will be able to find suitable job, and earn money to fund your stay without recourse to public funds..

I finally received the letter of acknowledgement with reference number. It says the applicant to wait for 4 weeks before contacting the ILR office. It also says NOT to send any additional documentation UNLESS requested by the caseworker. This is to ensure that all additional documents, where necessary, are sent to the relevant caseworker.

hsmpaspire,

Congratualtions!!

While applying for FLR(HSMP), did you have to go through the points based system again? What documents did you submit along with your FLR(HSMP)?

Tx..
No..there is no points based system for any person applying for FLR(HSMP) under initial leave to remain.[I.e, starting 2 years of your HSMP leave].
Points based system kicks in only for FLR(HSMP) extensions.

I just sent my 2 photographs and past 3 mnth salary slips. Its very straightforward.

Hello guys,

I will be applying for HSMP extension in the Second week of January. Just wanted to clarify something..

The last 8 months of earning do not fall into a tax year, so you will not have any Income tax returns(p60) to prove this. As per the application form, you will need to explain why you can not provide P60. So what did you guys write to explain on this occassion ?

Many Thanks.

webhunter,

I had a similar situation, I just mentioned that the Tax Year has not been completed, and I provided Bank statements in addition to pay slips.

If Tax Year is not completed, and you are claiming for the period within the tax year (not completed), I dont think any other proof is required for not submitting P60. The only other way you can self assess Tax is to file Self Assemment form, but HSMP Extension guidelines clearly state that Self Assemment forms are not acceptable.

So in your situation, if you are a salaried employee, then the Pay slips and Bank statements would be enough to prove your earnings.

Thanks JK, I hope you are eagerly waiting for your extension. Wish you all the very best. My guess is you might get it in early January :-) Since all the case workers in Christmas mood, there is no reason for them to reject :-) . Good luck.

I will be applying mid-January as mine visa expires on 1st March. (i.e. 6 weeks in advance)

Anyone who applied after December 10, got the good news of FLR(HSMP) approval?

The other good news is that there has not been any refusal of HSMP extension so far..

Hi JK,

Totally agree with you :-), As mentioned in one of my earlier posts, I dont think they will reject any HSMP extension application, unless it is an obvious blunder from the applicant.

I am sure you are likely to hear the positive news in the first week of January. Keep us posted.

By the way, though my extension application is fool proof, I will going through an experienced HSMP consultant for my application.

I come across at least three applicants who applied though not rejected but likely to be rejected coz they are given 28 days to switch over to work permitt.

I am aware of one case where his extension was not rejected and given a time to arrange a work permitt, that person applied for workpermitt through employer and it was REJECTED.

I am sorry to highlight this BAD news but they Home Office has started using its Swords.

Mrs. Khan,

Are you aware of any reasons why their extension was rejected.

Cheers.
