Apply early November, still waiting ...

Found this on what do they know website. It looks like only 1/3 of November applications have been processed.

The reply from UKBA on the link above related total SET(O) applications, although the question is related to 10 years.

Still waiting for the docs and BRP. UKBA response still processing last week of Oct applications. It's like different responses for different ppl. but end of day message will be "We will contact you once your application processed/completes."

Please let me know if anyone tried something else with UKBA to get response or expedite the process after 6 months. Can we send some kind of request letter to expedite process ?

Hi i am not an expert and i cant see what we can do to speed UKBA they like to keep as in cages, seen other posts where people sent letters/complaints etc and never got any response from them unless there is serious illness or death in close family.

i am in the stage where i cant sleep well waiting for a post man in morning to knock on the door, booked holiday 4 months ago for july and that could go to waste.

hope that we all will hear something soon.

It's the same here waiting waiting and my life is stuck. I have to postpone my travel twice.
I have called up UKBA and the response is October end applications are being processed. So still have to wait and will contact me. I hoping at least by second week of June we need to hear something.

I applied on 7/02/03 and got biometrics done on 20/02/2013 and haven't heard anything since. I'm halfway through the 6 month waiting list and getting worried. I also applied after completing 6 years discretionary leave basis of mum being naturalised british citizen. I hope we bith hear something soon all we can do is wait and be patient.

our case is probably same i completed 2*3 years of DL ,my mum is british citizen for some years now.

You got your biometrics pretty quick and maybe they are deciding faster now due to UKBA bad performance in past.

i am a bit stuck with my life now the waiting is killing me, booked holiday 4 months ago for july and that could go to waste but there is no much we can do that wait and hope for the best.

Have you called UKBA? What feedback do they give..?
I know last month october applicants had most of theirs back but majority of them did complain in writing and has MP involved

It's been just over 4 months now and I am still awaiting a response from UKBA.

Any ideas how long do I need to wait?
