Hi,
I applied for my ILR in August 2012 and awating decision. My child is born in Oct 2012.
My wife's visa (PBS dependent) is ending this month and she is submitting FLR(M) and linking it with my ILR application. Is it ok to not include child in section 4.
Yes it is okie.
Can I apply MN1 for my child and link it to my ILR application? as my child is eligible under section 1(3) described in MN1 guide.

No , your child will be free from immigration control once you get ILR.

I applied for my daughter's naturalisation vis NCS today. The date on my BRP card was one day after the date on my ILR approval letter.

I was advised on the forum that for "date when parents become settled" section write the date on the approval letter and not on the BRP card.

However the NCS worker made me correct the date on the form to the one on the BRP card.

This is to inform prospective applicants of my experience in this regard.

I think you can pay it later but check with senior members.
Further, is there is need an evidence for prrof of address, as I changed my residencd 2 week ago..?
They may ask you ID proof .Proof of address is not mandatory. If they insist dont you have tenancy agreement or mortage papers?

2.Fee £551; do I need to add £80....?
What is £80 for?
3.Child full version Birth Certificate
4.BRP of father
5.BRP of mother
6.Parents’ ILR approval Letter
Not Needed
7.Original marriage certificate with English translation
8.Parents passports......... is required....?
Yes they are required

Further she was born in UK and never visted abroad, is section 2 applies..?
Yes you need to fill only 2.2

BTW, It is not necessary to secure any separate dependent visa for the child if born in UK IF you do not plan on travelling with the child outside of UK with the intention of returning back to UK.

Today I had a Appointment @ NCS Hatfield at 9:30am for MN1 for my 6 months old Son

Documents Submitted:
1. application form
2. Payment form
3. Mine and wife's passport.
4. ILR BRP cards of both
5. Baby’s birth certificate.
6. Marriage Certificate.

It took arond 20 mins to submit. Will updated on timelines

My daughter's visa expires in about a week's time. She was born in the UK in 2005. In 2011 I successfully applied for ILR. Do I need to submit my daughter's MN1 application before her current visa expires???

Is your partner settled as well? If yes, then NO you do not need to worry about the expiry of her visa.

Do remember though if you are planning to travel after her visa expires and before you get her registered as a British Citizenship, you might be in trouble with immigration when you come back into the UK.

I guess everything is being slow due to inclement weather conditions.

That's good news...I checked mine..not yet debited

called NCS Hatfield, call center people they do not have any info about if application is reached or not.

Thats funny, the NCS I applied from actually gave me a tracking number on the receipt, and the package reached at 9 am the next day (my appointment was at 2pm).

Its strange that each NCS has their own service protocols, a bit like the PEOs for in-person ILR application.

I recently got my ILR with partner and have not included my son and daughter in my application as both were born in uk.

Do i need to submit my son's passport with Birth certificate as it was been stamped once as he went outside the country age(2years 8months)

Also My daughter was born last year April we only had her passport done(Indian) as we didn't s travel outside the country, we didn't got her visa stamped, Do i still need to submit her passport(Indian) along with UK Birth certificate


I want to know about the following :

UK Border Agency reference number. (( what number is it Biometric number or the letter which was granted by home office))

Surname/Family Name (NB. The name you give here will be the name shown on the child’s certificate so please
