Out of curiosity, when did you submit yr documents and payment?

I still find it very very difficult to understand why so many people are waiting to attend the ceremony and only 2080 was invited. she got approved on 1st of march and posted the payment and documents 3 days later. I sent my documents in on Monday, the 4th Mar, so my guess would be anyone who submitted their docs after that will be invited to the next available ceremony also.

One can only wonder why it takes up to 5 months after approval to attend for a so-called ceremony that most people dont even need or view as of importance. It looks good to Alan Shatter to say that he introduced the ceremony as a big event for Naturalised Citizens to celebrate an important day in their lives bla bla bla. Never for once have they asked Naturalised Citizens or has there been a survey that says that Naturalised Citizens prefer that.
Its just what Alan Shatter wants to improve his status as a Minister.
