switching from tier2 ICT long term to Tier 2 general

Hi

1)We arrived to London on Apr 2011 with Tier2 ICT (established staff) for long-term which was issued or valid from Mar 2011 and then got extension in UK itself for 2 more years on Feb 2014 as Tier 2 ICT (LONG TERM LEAVE TO REMAIN) and valid till Feb 2016.Now I'm planning to change sponsor with tier 2 general. Am I eligible for changing for Tier2 ICT to Tier2 General

2) Are we eligible to apply for ILR as my visa was issued on Mar 2011? but I arrived on April 2011 to London.

no, as you didn't have leave under the rules before 6 April 2010

You can apply from UK itself and not subject to cool-off period.

Hello Group,

Did any one apply for switching from TIER 2 ICT to TIER 2 General recently.

I have appoint this thursday and need help in filling questions L4 & N6. Any help would be much appreciated. I came in NOV'2010 on TIER 2 ICT: ESTABLISHED STAFF and currently have TIER 2 ICT Long Term Staff Leave to Remain on my BRP Card, which option should in selct in L4.

Hi Manci,

We came to UK on April 13th 2011 with Tier2 ICT but visa was granted on March 2011 and we are planning for extension now, Do we subject to Cool Off Period? as we came on April 13th 2011 or its subject to visa granted date which we got on March 2011, Dates entered and granted are bit confusing in our scenario

Kindly clarify me whether we are into cooling period or not? Are we eligible for extension now, as we are going to complete 5 years in march 2016 .....

If your first T2 ICT visa was as Established Staff granted under the rules before 6 April 2011 there is no time limit for extensions but you need a new CoS for each extension. It makes no difference that you actually arrived in the UK on 13 April 2011l.

Cooling-off is not relevant in your case.

Kindly clarify whether we can switch to Tier2 General, If in case we switch to Tier 2 General,do we come under 6 years rule or we can leave with as many extensions till ILR settlement?

Or only ILR is possible in same Tier2 (ICT) for 10 years in same sponsor?
