I only have the answer to your third question - I submitted statements from 3 different accounts, because I've been shuffling money back and forth between checking and savings accounts, to accrue as much interest as possible.

My reasoning for submitting all 3 accounts was this: a) I wanted the ECO to see that my salary was still being deposited to me, so I needed to include that account. But then b) 95% of my savings are across 2 other accounts, so I needed to show those too...otherwise I looked pretty poor.

So, I included a covering letter for the funds section of my EC application and said that account #1 was my primary spending account and that accounts #2 and #3 were savings accounts. Then, just to make doubly sure it was clear, I circled the total amount for each account for each month's statement and wrote "account #1" "account #2," etc.

I even had a quirky entry in one of my statements - I had opened a high interest savings account in April and moved almost the entire balance from my lower-interest checking account into the new savings account (same bank for both accounts). Except the bank used some cryptic description for the transfer and it wasn't absolutely clear that the huge debit from the checking account was merely a move to the savings account...so I explained that too, lest the ECO think I had just spent that money randomly.

I was approved, so it seemed to work :)

3) I am maintaining two bank accounts and my major chunk of money is there in the account other than my salary account. Can I show both my bank account statements?

Thanks in advance.

I have a family of 3 members (Me,wife&Child).

1. So for EC will i have to create one application or 3 different applications.
2. Will the total amount cost me (17K * 3) OR only 17K

Please clarify

Guys,

Please check this link http://www.britishhighcommission.gov.uk ... 3392320145

Copied the relevant matter below :

If we issue the visa
----------------------
Courier delivery: If you have paid Rs 735/-, a Blue Dart courier will deliver your passport to your home. You will need to hand over the stamped photocopy of the receipt to the courier to get the delivery.

Collecting your passport: If you have paid Rs 565/-, you will be able to collect your passport from the VFS office where you applied during the hours listed above.

If we refuse the visa
------------------------

Your passport and other documents will be handed over to you at the British Deputy High Commission after the interview, or at the VFS centre where you applied, on the next working day.

So, the status of the application being "The passport has been couriered to the applicant. Case closed." could mean that the visa was issued.

Hoping it is indeed so.

Good luck to everyone as well.

Thanks,
Sai

Need to know how Integra Verifies data

Post by Ritz123 » Sat Jul 14, 2007 3:16 pm

Hi Push_hsmp

Can you tell us how did you come to know that Integra contacted your employer? - was it a phone call or a formal letter?

Thanks and Regards

Hi Ritz123,

I contacted one of the close friends in the HR deptt. and he indicated that some kind of reference check was done. It was a telephone call. Just routine queries like name/designation/salary etc.

FORMS FOR EC

Post by Achtung » Mon Jul 16, 2007 4:29 pm

Well just a little doubt:

I think these are the forms we have to fill(no dependent with me)

- NON SETLEMENT FORM VAF1(OCT 2006)
<this I suppose is the main EC form>

- HSMPForm for INTEGRA Verification 1 page
<this I saw asks for 1 year employment details>

- HSMP Points Pro Forma

Guys,

Nice to see so many visa approvals. Less butterflies in my stomach now

I am prep my docs & planning to set a target by Aug first week.

I am holding back jus for some funds & remains a big threat already

Any good idea like how you people are managing your fund criteria?

Cheers

Hey ppl,

I am happy to inform you that my EC has been approved today. Just got the passport back, with VISA stamped for 2 years (both for myself & the dependent). :D It was a long wait (but in the hindsight, the outome was worth the wait)

I must thank you all for providing support/help/advice and valuable guidance throughtout the last few months that i have been associated with the Board.

I will continue to frequent the board and would be willing to provide any support that I can. As I am an MBA and am joining an Investment Bank in London, i would additionally be available for answering questions related to jobs in the sector.

I have been living in London for last 1 year, so if you think I can be of any use regarding info on the city/accomodation/cost of living etc. please send me a personal message/post a query on the board.

Once again thanks to you all and the discussion board administrators.....

best regards,
