Re: Tier 1 G Extension and ILR days counted

Post by azeem87 » Sat Aug 29, 2015 12:15 pm

Hi all, as you can see that I have been advised from couple of respected forum member that I am eligible for ILR any time after 24 September. I am confused because I have visited a solicitors couple of days ago and he told me hence I am short of 14 days for qualifying period which is 5 years ( 22-10-10-22-10-15) , my visa is valid till 08-10-15 so , it's better to apply by post on the last day of your leave ( in my case 08-10-15) and by the time I'll get my biometric letter etc I'll cover those 14 days.
I wanted to apply in person that's why I have asked before . Can any forum member advise me on that please ? If I am eligible on or after 24 September in person can you please provide me any link from Home office guide line on that please ?

You should apply no earlier than 28 days before 22-Oct-2015.
