Did any of you get your original documents back with a letter informing that a decision will be taken shortly.

Some stats of my application.

1)Application reached in the first week of February
2)In country application
3)Received my original documents back minus the passport
4)ref number 12***

Thanks.

Would be useful to know the date this happened.
4)ref number 12***
Would be useful to have one more digit here.

These will add to LA Mike's excel spreadsheet on process times.

Thanks

I have got a email from HSMP
"We are currently considering your HSMP application. However, before we can
reach a decision, further information is required from you.
You submitted the original Chinese certificate for your Bachelor of
Engineering degree. In order to score points, we require a certified
English translation of the document. Please see paragraph 6.1 of the HSMP
Guidance Booklet."
So I need to sent it .

spunk,

While they are considering your application, have they returned back your original documents that you submitted along with your application.

Thanks.

HSMP application within U.K for work permit holder

Post by goodluck » Fri Apr 23, 2004 10:56 am

Dear all, I applied for HSMP under 28 within U.K
Currently I am on Work permit, which expires in Feb 2005
Application History:

HSMP application Posted to Doncaster by Royal Mail Special Delivery:
Ref. Number: 1511*
Posted: 18th March 04

Charged: 19th March 04
My line manager send the fax stating the reason for treating my application is a matter of urgency:
Reason: I am flying outside U.K to attend a conference. ( Published a paper)

Fax Date: 16th April 04

Decision Made: 19th April 04

Original Documents Received by Royal Mail without decision letter: 21st April 04
Current Status:

Mine & my wife's passport are with FLR(IND) team.
Don't know what the decision is?
But I don't see any reason for rejecting my application.

My case was straight forwarded
Point Break Down:

Claiming 05 points for age
Claiming 25 points for Education (MSc from U.K)
Claiming 25 points for Experience (2 years 5 months exp. within U.K)
Claiming 10 points for Spouse (Msc from U.K, Married couple staying together in U.K over 2 years)
--------------
65 points

I could have gained points under significant achievement but didn't bother.
For FLR(HSM) (submitted before 1st April)
Proof:
last 12 months payslip (myself & wife)
Accommodation: Own a house (Original: Mortage aggrement letter, Land Registry letter)

Feel free to ask any questions.

Regards,
Goodluck
