You were fortunate that you received a reply in under 10 weeks.

They have improved a lot.

What did you letter say?

Did it just say your documents are being returned? And acknowledge receipt of your application?

I know 2 person who received the same thing. Kind of strange

Good, I assisted a family of 3 in making an application.

Today strangle the department sent 1 letter for 1 of the 3 person and the other 2 did not receive an acknowledgement . However they wrote on the one who got an acknowledgement , referring to the passport of the other 2.

So ridicilous , after a 10 weeks wait. I have sent a letter today and will pursue a claim against them.

What number did you call?

Well I have been trying to call them since last week many times and they were like just hanged up, other day I called again a guy was saying they will write me a letter, other one asked me to wait 14 weeks and finally I called through this number 1890 252854 which is citizenship department, there was lady spoke to me very nicely I explained bla bla bla.. and she put me through to the treaty rights department, they told me that they are processing my application and they will send the temporary letter soon probably this week :)

Hi,
Actually It is not peculiar to you,INIS says at the moment they are taking 12 to 14 weeks to issue you an acknowledgment letter due to the amount of application they received, Like you said I think it could have been misplaced that is why they sent you one again so nothing to worry :) hopefully you will receive your stamp 4 soon, stay blessed.

Hi everyone, please what is a statutory declaration form? and is it relevant to an application based on marriage to EU spouse?

Statutory declaration form only applies to Citizenship application not EU application.

It appears that the poster was referring to a Naturalisation application as opposed to Citizenship
