If a person is applying under CAT A of non salaried then they add up last 6 months pay and divide it 6 and multiply with 12 to count annual gross salary. They take lowest of last 6 montsh salary and multiply with 12 only if you have are in salaried employment i.e fixed pay each month : )yoyin wrote: Everyone talks about caseworker taking the lowest earning paid over 6month period to calculate the yearly earning but it states in the appendix that if on variable wages, the mean average will be worked out over the 6month multiplied by 12 will give the yearly earnings. Thanks
This seem to me non salaried. Are you sure that you in salaried employment as your pay vary each month?sweet fatima wrote:2015

You are non salaried in CAT A and calculation which CASA suggested earlier use for salaried employment of CAT A. For non salaried of CAT A you need to add up last 6 months salary and then divide by 6 and multiply with 12 to count gross salary. If your husband is in salaried employment then he need to calculate his earning as per formula of salaried employment which is taking the lowest earning from last 6 month and multiply it with 12. You boht then can add your gross salary to find out whether you meet the requirementsweet fatima wrote:Its like i can do the hours i want. Its salary from employment ....i am applying under category a. On flr m application form its only got these options:
Income from salaried employment
Income from self employment
Income not from employment
Income from pension and permitted benefits
You seem in non salaried so by adding your last 6 months = £10,143.1 divided by 6 and multiply by 12=£20,286.2 gross annual salarysweet fatima wrote: Mine:

This calculation is only if you are in salaried employment but his own salary vary to each month which might suggest that he is in non salaried employment of CAT A.CR001 wrote:I can't see how you would meet the financial requirement as HO would take the lowest pay for each of you to base their calculations.
