ILR Application held for Further checks

That's unbelievable !!! It has been more than 8 months then??!
Have you tried to contact them again?
Did you send them any letters? Or did you contact your MP to chase it up for you?

My ILR was granted after about 2 months. I had to contact my local MP to chase it up for me. Otherwise they wouldn't have responded to me at all. Only after my MP contacted them directly, they escalated my application and granted the ILR. Good luck.
