Please post your citizenship questions in the British citizenship sub forum. This is not the correct place.

But to answer your question, no that clause won't apply to and you will have to wait till you meet the requirements of for citizenship including the absence limits.

Hi,

I am on ILR and looking to apply for my wife visa, does following documents enough.


6 months payslip and bank statement
A1 English test (Which my wife will do from Pakistan)
Letter from landlord for renting
Letter from me for sponsoring her

Do I need to provide any other documents?

Employment letter, tenancy agreement, your passport/BRP, evidence of subsisting marriage and communication............

Do I need to submit original passport and BRP since I will be in UK?

I also notice some members choose priority service but not sure what is process and difference between standard and priority service.?

Copies are fine.

Yes some countries offer the priority service, it does not however mean you will get a quicker response. Currently long delays, even priority taking 60-90 days if not longer. Some members waiting since November/December last year for visa outcome.
