Re: ILR Form Filling Query

Post by arunkmajumdar » Mon Mar 19, 2018 8:52 am

"Letters addresses to both of you at the same address, eg. NHS letters, HMRC letters, Tenancy Agreements, Utility Bills, Council tax etc."

We have latest council tax letter, how does this prove the cohabitation of the entire period?

Thanks

You need more than just one council tax letter.

So I need council tax letter or any other letter for the entire period?

That is challenging.

Page 63 and 64 of the FLR(M) form gives good examples of cohabitation documents.

Presumably you and your dependents are all applying at the same time on ONE form. Then no, you only list your absence as the main applicant.

I am trying to get old tenancy agreements and tomorrow I will try Halifax for a mortgage statement since May 2016. Is there anything you have seen used as evidence in this section? Thanks

Another question : I don’t have any letter from previous employers (Jan 2013 to Oct 2014 & Oct 2014 to Apr 2017). I didn’t have any absences with them which I need to cover. Do I still need letters from them? Home Office should have all visas and documentation details anyways. Thanks for your help in advance.

Update : received our ILR approvals yesterday, thanks for all the help.

The case-agent called me and asked for p45s from previous employers which I didn't had. I said Home Office / HMRC should have this. She called back and said OK.

Thanks again.

I already provided you with the other form (not for you to use) that gives examples.
As final set of documents for cohabitation, I had given following

1. 2013 Sep dated Tenancy Deposit Scheme Document
2. 2015 dated Tenancy extension letter
3. Halifax Mortgage illustration - 2016
4. Council Tax bill March 2018
5. Halifax Mortgage Statement from May 2016 to March 2018 (dated March 2018)
