Well no, it just meant he had a 2-year spouse visa ... with an expiry date! Did he apply for another visa before the expiry date of that 2-year spouse visa? If not, it is not correct to say "his immigration status is fine"....... but he got married so wouldnt that mean that the visa wouldnt matter???
