Dear All Members,

I highly appreciate exceptional work done by the members of the forum. It was always remained so helpful in my journey to ILR. I am writing today to share my experience and one important suggestion to all the aspiring applicants.

Please always be truthful and let know the Home Office if there is any exceptional circumstances. Never shy away to write to home office if there is any genuine need to expedite your application. My salute also goes to the home office T1 Entrepreneur case workers and staffs that they really listens to your genuine grievances.
Write the home office with confidence and proof your genuine reasons for quick turnaround. I guarantee you they listens.

I have seen so many applicants in the forum who are waiting for a long time to get their application processed and spending anxious and sleepless nights. I tried to return my small contribution by suggesting above recommendation if it helps to even a single applicant.

My time line is already posted on the forum.
All the best and good luck.
Salam Hamza,

Thank you for sharing your experience with us and the link.

Wanted to know though, what sort of exceptional circumstances can we speak to the Home Office about? Can you give your case as an example? For me, my father in law has cancer and his situation is deteriorating and my wife is waiting to get ILR to go visit him. We applied in the beginning of February.

Would be great if you can share your situation and how you informed them of it, did you send any evidence, etc.

Thank you!

Dear Basel,

If you can provide the Doctors letter or any strong proof in written form regarding his illness that can be presented to the Home Office for the quick turnaround of your application. The Home Office is really helpful only the evidence needs to be concrete.
I pray for your early approval.

Thank you for sharing the link.
When I check online status it says BRP not valid or expired.
You should use most recent issue BRP.

No you cannot. Tier 1 Ent main visa holders only have the standard option available. It is PBS Dependents that can use super priority.

Dear Bizman
I applied for my ILR on 9th February 2019 at that time they were offering both the options (after you complete your online form) existing or new. I applied for existing and posted all the documents to home office.
Currently I am not sure if still the postal facility exists or not. Maybe tier11417 is correct. But you can check by filing a dummy application.
All the best.

Dear Amjad,

My tier 1 Entrepreneur is already posted, it took 3 months and 6 days. Once you get the ILR you can apply separately for your PBS dependents on super priority. In my case I did the same and my PBS dependents got the approval in hours after their biometrics.

I hope it will help you.
