Your level of income could be a problem, as your employer is presumably employing you illegally, paying 'cash in hand' with no payslips...which will mean that you won't be able to show these earnings on your wife's visa application.
Do you have children? If so the Chikwamba ruling may be an option that immigration advisors would suggest to enable you to apply in the UK.
